Our server was Yee. He was very professional and took our order right away. We were impressed with the quality and taste of the food. This is one of the best restaurants in Sacramento.

This is one of my favourite restaurants anywhere . . . people who live in Sacramento are so lucky! The food is so tasty . . . and it's the service. It simply doesn't get any better! Each person we encountered was focused and friendly. I'll dream of coming up with a reason to be back in Sacramento so I can return.

The lunch entree (Honey Walnut Shrimp)was very good and a large portion! My friends dishes of orange chicken and kung pao chicken looked very tasty as well! I was also given a slice of their renown Banana pie for my birthday. It was a very Nice Lunch!! However , as much as I would really like to return to this location ; the price for parking is expensive (I.e. Garage parking next door cost is $10 1st hour; plus $2 every 1/2 hour thereafter). Between the 3 of us, we paid almost $50 for parking!!! That's almost the same price of all our entrees!!!

I ate here some 20 years ago when my brother had his birthday celebration. At that time, the food was excellent.Last night (11/5), I brought one of my friends (who is Chinese) for dinner after bragging that it was the best place to eat in Sac. The calamari was greasy as was the noodles. The martini and service was excellent.

Greta Chinese food, love the atmosphere in there too. The honey walnut prawns and the General's Taos chicken were a standout.

Delicious lunch! We ordered multiple different items, honey walnut prawns, pork potstickers, Sang Gai Shee Chow Mein, vegetable shao bao, pork fried rice and of course the famous banana cream pie. The food was hot and fresh. The timing of service was perfect from appetizers to main courses and dessert. Servers were excellent and attentive. We really enjoyed our conversation with the manager, Ken as we were celebrating a birthday with a first time guest, his sharing the history of the restaurant and memorable guest who have visited really made the lunch memorable.

The Dan Dan salad had a delicious salad dressing—sesame delightful fresh taste. There could have been more greens so the noodles would not have been too overwhelming. I would order again.

Review of Frank Fat's – Sacramento, CA My wife and I visited Frank Fat's for date night, and it was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and classic, with an inviting energy that made the evening feel special. We started with cocktails and the appetizer sampler, which was perfectly balanced in flavor and portion. Each item was crisp, fresh, and well-seasoned. The orange chicken was among the best we've had—lightly battered with a bright citrus glaze that didn't overpower the dish. The noodle entrée complemented it beautifully, full of depth and texture. Everything came out hot, well-timed, and expertly plated. Service was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly took pride in their work. It felt personal without being intrusive. Frank Fat's delivers on every level—food, service, and atmosphere. We'd absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable night out in Sacramento.
