If your closed for renovations up date your web page. It says open at 5pm. Called and got a recording.

It closed down since the pandemic and never reopened. I remember it to be ok in the 80's.

Went out to try the winery at 6:30pm on a Friday (during business hours). The place was closed.

This has ALWAYS been a fabulous restaurant - looking forward to the new owners carrying on the tradition of Howard and Gary!

Place was busy with several families and they managed to take care of us with the few waitresses they had. Will be ordering that again soon.

Just showed up for my birthday dinner with my husband and 4 of my relatives who came to join us. I had personally made my reservation over the phone with the restaurant two weeks ago. They confirmed my reservation for 6 people at 6pm at that time. They also took my name and phone number. Imagine my surprise when we show up at 5:30 (came early to enjoy some drinks at the winery) to a closed gate with a small orange sign on the gate saying that they had sold and that they were closed. All of the party members who were joining us had gone to the website in the couple of days prior to today to look at the menu. There was absolutely nothing on the restaurant site to notify us that they're closed. We also did not receive any call or text or ANY notification at all that they would not be able to fulfill our reservation. I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism with literally zero notice that our reservation had been "canceled" due to their business closure, especially when I told the person on the phone specifically that this was to be a celebratory birthday dinner. So now, it's 6pm on a Saturday night and we're frantically scrambling to find somewhere remotely celebratory that can accept a party of 6 with no reservation. Let me tell you, it's not a fun thing to try to do. This situation is almost comical if you don't consider that this is supposed to be a professionally run business. I can only imagine how much worse this would have been if I had booked an event or had a larger party. Absolutely no direct notice to me and nothing even written on the restaurant website!! I had wanted to come to this place for the last 25 years and I had finally decided to do it for my 78th birthday, only to have this experience. I can't say that I'll be making any effort to try again, considering they couldn't even have the decency to give me any notice of their restaurant closure and my need to reorganize my birthday dinner. Extremely unprofessional.

As DJ Rockalot I performed a wedding here last Saturday and found this venue to be elegant and accommodating. Great attentive staff and well kept grounds. Great old world charm, a well established but hidden Sacramento gem!

Mother's day brunch was so disappointing. Price $45. ALL desserts looked as if they had come out of a box from Costco! Shrimp was soggy, tri-tip was tough Quiche ( mini) was not edible. So disappointing for myself and my daughter's. Worst brunch I have ever had.

For my taste the wines were on the sweet side regardless of varieties. The service was wonderful and the wine shop/tasting room was quite nice. Just not our taste.
