Chef T is an awesome soul. Such a positive guy. Was welcoming and very attentive. Loko moko is authentic and amazing. The Lemonade is to die for. We'll definitely be back here again.

We had a lovely, intimate celebration for the newly weds here. Chef T did his thing and cooked up small plates which were perfectly dished up. Lots of Polynesian flavors and we can feel his passion and the pride he puts into the food. There was more than enough food and we appreciate Chef T's generosity in packaging it up for us to take home and enjoy it again the next day.

Here's what we had:

*Huli Chicken Wings
*Salmon w/Taro Cake topped w/Snow Crab
*Mixed Salad mango & vinaigrette dressing
*Braised Short Ribs w/Taro Gnocchi
*Roasted Broccoli w/garlic
*Mashed Potatoes

Don't doubt this spot because the flavors are just as big as their hearts. FODB also does pop ups and you may see them at local festivals too. Give 'em a try!

They serve traditional Samoa food on Sundays.
We tried the loco moco, poke with wanton chips and a traditional meal. Would go back on a week day for their shrimp

Sacramento Food Review

Very flavorful dishes, but maybe too flavorful in many cases. Larger parties may have to wait a little while for their food.

In my exploration of different ethnic food I decided to try Samoan food. Fresh off of the boat was a great choice. We came for a late lunch on Thursday. A slow time for the restaurant, being so there were less choices (on vusy days there would be a lot more av). We had a fish dish, chicken dish, along with Nachos with raw fish. We ate most every bite. Check the place if your looking for something different in a good way.

Food: The Loco Moco was interesting. It has a different flavor, but it was a nice twist. The flavor was a bit more onion heavy and hints of sweetness. But still needed some other flavor to elevated it a little.

Atmosphere: They were located at a festival at the time and the staff was super friendly.

The atmosphere was very welcoming! I came an hour before closing and it seemed like they ran out of a lot of things. Which I didn’t mind I still wanted to try it out. Mind you I’m not very picky. I ordered the 3 combo plate and added an additional side for 33 bucks. For the price and the portions that’s given the portions should definitely be bigger. The food was slightly warm & I wish they had food warmers to really keep the food fresh & hot. I’m guessing since it was a Sunday it was extremely busy so I don’t blame them. I would definitely recommend to cover the food with foil or something bc I seen a fly land on a tray of food. I did try the Curry and the potato was raw including the veggies. That was disappointing. The noodles with chicken could have been a lot better too. It wasn’t made with the right noodles which threw the taste off. But the rest of the food was enjoyable for the most part. This is a honest review not to be negative but just to give my input to hopefully help the business. Thank you for all your hard work!

Made it so easy to cater a large event for 60 people! Ordering was easy, set up timely and super efficient! They thought of everything and provided extra sauce in case we needed more! Everyone loved the dishes- poke went first followed by Chicken Katsu and delicious rice. Rave reviews and many second trips had by all! Everyone noted how amazing and fresh it tasted! Definitely made some new customers from that meal!

Amazing island fusion food. Best look mojo I’ve ever had. Shrimp is to die for. Outstanding poke. Samoan fries are awesome too. Can’t wait to try the corned beef

Great little place tucked in an office park. Had the fish and taro chips and they were outstanding. Super fresh fish and the taro chips were a great alternate to french fries.

Crispy chicken on salad was also great along with the Poke and taro chips had by others in our party. Owner/Chef stopped by our table and talked about his philosophy. Super nice guy who seems to be passionate about food and it shows in the meals. Don't miss this place if you are in the Sacramento airport area . So good, I would make a detour if I'm anywhere close.
