One of the best restaurants in Sacramento and conceivably the state. The ambience is welcoming and chill with a touch of sophistication. I recommend the charcuterie board, artisan cheese board, deviled eggs, pork shank, the Frog & Slim Wagyu Burger - best burger I've ever had, and their specialty drinks are delicious. Everything is reasonably priced, which these days is tough to find. Their servers are positive and kind, low turnover rate, which my husband and I pay attention to. We don't want to give our dollars to a place where the management are most likely tyrants to the staff. I don't recommend bringing small children as it's more of a group or date night get together. We brought one of our more high-end couple friends here and they fell in love with it. If you want to impress a date, I highly recommend it. It will impress without breaking your wallet.

Came for the 3-course Father's Day brunch; the food was tasty and filling as were the beverages, and the service was wonderful. It was a chill, comfortable, and calm fathers Day brunch vibe which is exactly what we wanted.

If you're a steak lover, don't order the steak. I've been there 3 times. I ordered the NY strip medium rare the first time. It came out well done. The second time, I ordered the burger, and it was good. I decided to give the steak another chance on my 3rd visit. I ordered the $51 ribeye. It was about a half inch thick, of which 1/3 was fat and was overcooked. They did offer to compensate the $51 steak with a complimentary $10 desert.
Pros: Drinks are excellent! Burgers and fish are good as well. Cons: Steak is definitely not worth the price.
