El Trigal Bakeries

Checked out this bakery for the first time while waiting for a smog. It’s not super obvious it’s there unless you zoom all the way into google maps.

They have a nice selection of baked goods / pan. Staff was friendly and prices were decent. My wife was very happy to get a “taste of home”. So that’s all that matters :)

This is honestly the best Mexican bakery in Sacramento that I could find! It’s similar to the pink elephant in San Jose, which is where I was born✨ authentic and overall amazing💕 me and my family come here every Sunday.

. The aroma of the pan dulce hits you as soon as you open the door. Great selection of sweet bread beautifully displayed, they also have a refrigerated display case with decadent cakes. My family loves this bakery!

Everything is so fresh and delicious! I can't believe how good they are. The staff was super nice and they even had warm fresh pastries they were trying to sell us. I will definitely be back

In the heart of a bustling city, I stumbled upon El Trigal Bakery—a place where the language barrier dissolved in the warmth of genuine human connection🥰. Specializing in traditional Latin American pastries and breads, they offer a variety of freshly baked goods made with authentic recipes and high-quality ingredients🥐🥮. 

One afternoon, on my way home from work, I decided to stop by El Trigal to pick up a cake for my friend’s birthday🎂. As I entered, the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread enveloped me, and the display cases showcased an array of beautifully crafted pastries. However, when I reached the counter, I realized their credit card machine was down💳, and they were only accepting cash—💵a payment method I didn’t have on hand.

Despite the language barrier, the owners sensed my predicament. With warm smiles and reassuring gestures, they handed me the cake and simply said, “You pay later.” Their trust and generosity left me overwhelmed with emotion, filling me with tears of joy and a renewed faith in humanity🥲🥹.

My daughter wanted to come for Conchas. They are good! I forgot what I had and I liked it as well. It's small, and bare but welcoming. Someone was always at the register ready to help. We came a few times.

Found this place when my bf was getting a haircut next door. SO. GOOD. I’ve gone to other panaderías where some of the stuff is really, really dry at the end of the day but I was super surprised at how fresh this was.

The conchas and cookies here were BEYOND delicious! Super soft and not too sweet. And the staff was extremely kind which made my experience even more enjoyable. This is now probably my favorite place to go for when I have a sweet tooth – I will be here many times again in the future! 100/10!!!
