Giovanni's Old World New York Pizzeria

The place is really big and perfect for large parties. Has a covered seating area outside. The restroom and the facility are ADA compliant. They have a small parking lot in the front but there is a big parking lot in the side. Food is good. We got a Calzone and their Jumbo chicken wings

hi, this was our second time ordering. we should have taken photos of the pizzas. the first was okay to me but my partner thought it was subpar. the second time was July 15th 2025 and it definitely was subpar. i have photos of the order via email. barely any toppings…. even the ones we paid extra for. the crust was very hard towards the middle-top as well. again we didn’t take photos but thought you should know. maybe it’s about who was cooking at the time we ordered? we won’t be returning again because now i’m convinced that’s just the quality level and it doesn’t work for us.

Stopped in to grab a pie. Nice counter service restaurant. Wasn't too busy for a late lunch. Pizza was flavorful and had a good amount of toppings. Would definitely come back if in the area.

Wow I’m amazed $60 on an unedible cracker
The salami taste odd almost rancid
Asked for light sauce got a dry cracker
Almost no cheese or any other toppings for that matter
The one thing that they put on was bell peppers and I mean like 2 hole bell peppers
The bell peppers could be equal to or greater than all other toppings together
I worked a round table as a kid and I would say these guys xl pizza has about 1/2 the toppings of a round table large
Any one who calls this pizza is crazy
Any one who says this is good pizza
Should go try little Caesars your socks will be blown off

I don’t know if I’m saying it right but the pizza at Giovanni’s is just bad
The flavor reminded me of red Barron with the rancid salami flavor added

For those of you that like this trash I left 3/4 of an xl on the table to let the staff know it’s unacceptable To serve to people it’s all yours

They did much better than the other location. Good job.

We ordered pizza from this place and it was terrible. Waited over an hour after pickup time for a burnt black pizza (see pictures). The manager didn’t care and told me “it’s not burnt on the inside” lol. Manager also refused to do a refund and gave me a “what do you want me to do about it” attitude. What a sad excuse for a pizza place. Do yourself a favor and get a frozen pizza from Walmart. It will be 10x better than Giovanni’s sad excuse of a pizza.

I’m the NO Parmesan girl!!! You all rock!!! This pizza is the best. Perfect thin crust with light crunch. Excellent sauce. Get extra! Friendly service. Tip tip tip. Don’t be cheap. Tip this family, they are doing it right! Thank you. I’m so glad i came back ?

Hands down best pie in Sacramento. Authentic NY pizza. Crust cooked to perfection. Fresh ingredients. Fantastic!!! But I am editing my review...I get if you are extremely busy on Friday & Sat night & can't handle orders to be delivered but not on a week day at 3:30! I WANT DELIVERY. I hate driving to that part of town. Booo hooo on me ??
