Thin crust, New York style. Never knew this one existed near Sac State! Definitely will be back. Owner seemed like a nice guy & service was quick/helpful. Definitely get a side of ranch & the lunch special is a good bang for your buck. Ambiance is low key but I'm more focused on the quality of the pizza which is there.

The pizza was wonderful but the price ,39 bucks for extra large pepperonis was just too much! It comes to about 5 bucks a slice!

This was my first time ordering pizza from here. I ordered pickup online on a Thursday night and was told it'd be an hour wait. I drove less than a mile and had to wait. The place had more people than I'd expect for a rainy evening, but it was still relatively slow and the phone was steady ringing. I waited about twenty minutes before I was told my pizza was burnt and had to be remade. Finally it was done after about fifteen more minutes. I got home opened the box and the pizza was huge including the individual slices. It was a thin crust Bronx Bomber and it was very tasty. If asked I'd recommend them but would mention be prepared to pay a hefty price. I've never paid $40 for a large pizza, but what should I expect in East Sacramento? Give it a try and tell me if it's worth the price.

Legit authentic NY style pizza!! The owner has been making pizza since the age of 8, he was originally from NY. The pizza is amazing and authentic, would highly recommend.

First time coming here and was fortunate to have a small Da Bronx Bomber. Taste was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. As soon as you open the box you'll be intoxicated by the smell. The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. Looking forward to trying out other pizzas.

I've ordered on line for pickup at this establishment now at least 4 separate times and each time, I arrive at the time they send to collect my order and every single time I have arrived, my order is not ready...in fact it's clear each time that the order hasn't even been started and I have been made to wait another 20-30 minutes at the store to receive my pizza. The store's attendants gave no explanation or any apology or bid for reparation. The pizza here Is good but so are dozens of other places in town who actually manage to competently and reliably receive and produce orders in a timely fashion. Long story short....there are way too many other pizza joints that make just as good pizza or better that find a way to do better business than this poorly- run store managed by a completely indifferent staff. Do yourself a favor and get pizza literally anywhere else.

I attempted to try this place out, but after waiting for my pizza for over 30 minutes I asked how much longer for my order and I was told that my pizza was given to someone else by mistake. No apology. I was told I had to wait another 30 minutes for a pizza. I asked for a refund and the cashier didn’t even attempt to keep my business. I was a first time customer. Extremely poor service. If I could I would give a zero for service.
I can get a take and bake that weighs the same. Let's do the math ingredients are weighed, Let's do some more math half the price. Granted Giovonnie's pizza is delicious.

Da Brooklyn Bomber was great. Steady crust, loads of savory toppings, and hint of sweetness with the seasoning made this a great pizza. The wings on medium had a great balance of zing and tang. The ranch had hints of dill and pesto giving it more than your average. Counter service was friendly and helpful with the menu and beer selection. A little chilly for the outdoor seating just yet but inside was clean and spacious. The crowd and staff were lively for a Wednesday night. I will adjust my order for my tastes on my next order but I will definitely be back to Giovanni's.

Order a pepperoni and received a combination. Giovanni's never responded to the issue. I can't speak to the quality of the pizza, but the people who enjoy combos didn't even finish one piece each. They said it definitely wasn't worth the price. On top of that I had to pay a support local business fee. I thought I was already doing that by ordering from a local business.
