I have been eating at Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ for 20 years since Ronnie and Timmy ran them. I love there food. The ingredients and the system are consistent. The atmosphere is just how Timmy planned it. But if you order here through an app or don't make it yourself expect food you didn't order, in the masses, to just be added ad-lib concoction style to your dish (their preferences), with no consideration for allergens. Leaving you with only appetizers. Sure, I'm sure they like their stuff like this, but other people can't eat it always be able to eat it how you eat it. That's why they didn't add that to their selection. Be ready to throw your food out and go hungry. Also, the sweet and sour is not a sauce...

I love this place. I order on average once a week. My service dog would rather eat Mongolian BBQ than pizza. He has a lot of allergies so I order pretty plain, but the sauces and the noodles, he even does a dog version of slurping the noodles. Great food and people with true value for the money.

At Mongolian BBQ, one of the keys is cleanliness, and unfortunately, the ingredient bar looked a hot mess. The almost saving grace was the actual taste of the food. Tender meats, variety of sauce options, and not overcooked.

Went here w/ family cuz the place that we normally go to closes at 8pm. My daughter says that the one in Roseville is good, and since this place stayed open late...we came here. Good thing I checked the reviews first...there was food all over the counters and floors, there was soup & rice at our table when we got back...but no water (I eventually got up after sitting at the table for about 15 minutes, to wait behind a couple who was getting their stuff to go for another 10 minutes before someone asking if i needed help). You do start out w/ a small bowl so u can't put all that much stuff in w/o something falling out (I did notice that after it's cooked they give it back to u in a larger bowl, so that made no sense to me but whatever). At least the bathroom was clean, however there was no soap. Next time I come back to town to visit, I won't be going here. Sad ?

I was very disappointed in the way they cooked my food. I normally put a lot of sauce in my meal so that when they cook it it comes out flavorful. This was overcooked where there was no sauce or oil left in the bowl. The noodles were very dry. I was disappointed because Mongolian bbq is one of my favorite foods to eat. I know how it’s cooked. I wish the cook didn’t rush through it and cook all of the essence out of it.

I think I’ve found my new favorite restaurant. They have all the ingredients, sauces and drinks you can ask for in a Mongolian bbq environment. The sticky rice was actually sticky too. lol. The staff was on point, friendly and prompt, with a clean environment. I highly recommend this for everyone! Good job GK Mongolian BBQ!!!!

This is my second time there with the family. Food is still delicious. Service was "meh". I even asked one of the 2 servers if they could clean up the counter and floor around the food area; there was wasted food all over the counter and floor (very slippery), plus the mess reminded me of a pig stall. Not a pleasant atmosphere!
Food is of good quality. You make your own bowl so its practically impossible for you to get a bowl of food you dont like. Outside testing dishes

Everything was wonderful. But the music was a little bit to hard rock for my taste to eat dinner to, I have nothing against it, but I'd rather have something more subdued to listen too while I eat. The service, the food was top notch! I will be going back.

This is a great place. My wife and I were passing through town and saw this place. First they greeted us and had our table set with rice, water and some snacks while we got our food.Then we got our food and they were super helpful with tge sauces, how to mix as well as how much to use. Truly a great experience, would recommend, you won't be disappointed.Thank you for a great dining experience.
