I went inside Goldfields to grab some lunch. Sat at table for 10 minutes. Lady by the bar (only one working) never acknowledged me yet served the few other guys by the bar and even talked to them. Just because I may not be a regular, chose not to sit by the bar, or not a friend, that doesn't mean I should be ignored as a customer.
Small venue.... great service
Definitely one of the favorites now. My first time at this location last night
Hands down a fantastic place to listen to live music at and have a beer. They support local artists and have really great sound engineers. My only gripe is the air conditioning feels inconsistently effective. Maybe its efficiency can vary making the space too large to successfully cool? I think the general staff is pleasant and patient though and seem to always be in a good mood.
Cramped and hot. Much smaller than I was expecting. I was there during a sold out show and it's a mess at times trying to get to the stage from the bar.
I went there for the my kids performance with school of rock, so disappointed the menu was not available, the tacos that were, were cold and we had a basket come out with a half eaten taco, they fixed the issue and apologized, my guess is it was an employees meal that accidentally got delivered. Drinks were weak and not worth the money. Male bartender seemed mad that we were there and there was no server at the tables (a female helped fix our half eaten basket of tacos but she was not around in the beginning). We usually stay to watch everyone but we were happy to leave. I hope we don't hold anymore shows here, so not worth it and if we go back to goldfields I hope its in old roseville. I would not recommend this place based on food and bartender. However, the fact that the old once known as hamburger Mary's got a cute fix up and the stage is amazing, its not worth the price and service, go else where. Side note, many just DoorDashed other restaurants and I wish I did as well.
Great place to see a show or get some food and a drink

This came up as a Google search for a “country and western bar. Nothing about this bar is country. Not a pair of boots in this place, just mid 20’s hipsters with funny wanna be beards

Good place for traveling artists to perform. Small and intimate stage in a historical bar. The connection to the Tack Room is nice. Just a protip, domestic beers are a dollar cheaper in the Tack Room than Goldfields, and you can walk in between the two easily.
