A live music event was about to begin at night time but the artist didn't show up in time, so after awhile I left and never got to see the performance. The place is divided into 3 rooms. Place feels odd and hasn't done well for some reason. No wonder it's closing down. The Roseville location seems more fun.

We bought VIP tickets for a meet and greet and showed up on time. The venue told us they were running an hour late letting people in so we went to grab a snack. When we got back (15 minutes later) we got put in line with all of the non VIP group, so we missed the meet and greet. The guy at the door was a huge jerk and acted super condescending when we asked if we could go ahead of the non-vip group to not miss the meet and greet, then just sent us to the back of the line. As we approached the door someone else asked the same question, after the person walked away the door guy started blabbing about vip ticket people being idiots.
Once inside the venue sucked too. It was like 100 degrees in the place, there was very little room for the amount of people they let in, the stage wasn't high enough so we couldn't even see the artist..
The only fun we had was because we looked passed the terrible experiene and enjoyed the music.
Will not be back.

I have never had the food and I only got one drink here - bartender was ok but it was BUSY. I have only been here twice for the concerts. Parking downtown kinda sucks but it's not the venues fault. Venus isn't hard to get into to. I have enjoyed both concerts but the layout is a bit weird - it's hard to explain but the music area can be very crowded and it can be difficult to get out if your lame like me and need to leave early because it's past your bed time. other than that the artists wer great and I'm glad there is a Venus that books them, sound was excellent, lighting was good. I wish there was more seating for old people like me.

I came tonight to see Matt Black perform. This venue has no fans, and many people, including myself, left early because it was too hot to endure. Maybe they should do less with the antlers and add more fans or air conditioning because everyone was covered in sweat and complaining. I had to leave because it got to the point where I felt I couldn't breathe. I will not be back.

I went inside Goldfields to grab some lunch. Sat at table for 10 minutes. Lady by the bar (only one working) never acknowledged me yet served the few other guys by the bar and even talked to them. Just because I may not be a regular, chose not to sit by the bar, or not a friend, that doesn't mean I should be ignored as a customer.
