I have never had the food and I only got one drink here - bartender was ok but it was BUSY. I have only been here twice for the concerts. Parking downtown kinda sucks but it's not the venues fault. Venus isn't hard to get into to. I have enjoyed both concerts but the layout is a bit weird - it's hard to explain but the music area can be very crowded and it can be difficult to get out if your lame like me and need to leave early because it's past your bed time....
Hands down a fantastic place to listen to live music at and have a beer. They support local artists and have really great sound engineers. My only gripe is the air conditioning feels inconsistently effective. Maybe its efficiency can vary making the space too large to successfully cool? I think the general staff is pleasant and patient though and seem to always be in a good mood.
