Stellar breakfast burrito matched only by the horchata! Definitely recommend the plantains.
Great spot for a delicious meal!
I was looking for something to eat & had hoped the Gondo Fusion staff were still available to help. They were open. I just needed a side to go with the lunch I brought to work that day. The folks were very friendly and welcoming. I was excited to see zucchini fries on the menu and they were perfect. I had a nice lunch and will come back another day for some yummy food and to try some items from the main menu.
I finally had a chance to stop by this place and I'm glad I did. I got a breakfast burrito with plantains. It was a good sized burrito for the price. The plantains added a nice sweetness to the eggs, beans, and potatoes. I washed it down with a cuban horchata latte. The horchata worked well with the coffee. The online ordering was perfect and my burrito was exactly as ordered. My order was ready in time and person who greeted me was very nice. I'm looking forward to trying something else my next visit.
To be fair I tried Gondo Fusion at the Fair Oaks Farmers Market. I can’t really comment on the atmosphere of the place but I would assume it is warm and welcoming just like their food truck 🥰 I am newly vegetarian and got the SacTown Bowl vegetarian Cuban style and OMG it’s so freaking amazing. Wowwww. I highly recommend you give this place a try.
So glad these folks were able to get a spot near me! Everything is good, big fan of the sactown bowl and the Cuban!
This is one of the staples of the midtown farmer's market food alley, and I have eaten here a few times and never really loved it. They have a sign right in front of the truck, and that plate of food looks hecka good! I wonder where they found that photo??? LOL!
We decided to split the breakfast burrito and I nearly fell on the ground when they charged us $14 for a burrito! Way too expensive for me, and even worse, it was basically a sour cream burrito. The chorizo was barely noticeable, and if it was there, I couldn't tell. It had lots of black beans and the sour cream was just way overpowering and made the entire burrito ice cold and just not appetizing at all. The spiciness is on point though. I will give them that.
Unfortunately, there were some issues on this visit and I won't get into it.Super irritating experiences like this have me wondering why we spend $14 at food trucks! There are so many options at the food alley that I will just find another small business to support. It's a shame because I wanted to love this truck, but sadly, they fall really short when it comes to execution and the overall value for your buck just isn't there. Darn.
I loved Purple Pig and they were a tough act to follow (RIP - Rest in Purple). Gondo Fusion has followed indeed with a killer menu. My hats off to them. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. That chorizo is not that gnarly stuff that melts into a puddle of fat/grease. It was legit, chunky goodness. Spicy, nice portion, good ratio of ingredients...this was hella good my dudes. There's a bunch of construction to get through to the building right now, but doable. Give them a shot.
Cuban burrito is the best burrito i ever had.
Broke down food truck in a terrible area. It wasn’t open, but there is absolutely no way I would have eaten there. Sad because I was visiting the hospital and needed food, and this was the closest option. I hope nobody else has to go through this.

I had got a bowl with choice of meat chicken. The chicken taste like it's two days old. It's hella dry and tasteless. So I basically I payed 15 dollars for rice, beans, cabbage, tomato and corn. First and last time visit. Better food truck down broadway with delicious shrimp burritos. Shrimp falling out of the burritos and my food was done in literally 60 seconds just threw it all together.
Good grub here! Shrimp burros were on point! Will be back

The food is tasty, but the prices are way too high for what you get. We ordered a Cuban burrito and Cuban bowl. Both had maybe a tablespoon, if that, of meat each. The bowl was 80% white rice, 10% cabbage and 10% everything else. Lots of filler for a $40+ bill.
