100/10 experience stopped by to try the mint matcha and gf got the vanilla latte , mint matcha was so refreshing and tasted amazing untill the end ! Hospitality was so great too !
My friends and I decided to spontaneously meet here for a place to work and enjoy some coffee. Because we had a larger group, we needed more chairs so we decided to grab a stool from another area… the owner quickly came over & asked us to use a different chair. Since the stools specifically needed to stay in that area (even though they weren’t being used). Okay, I get that. Whatever, it’s your place. But, he was unkind about it & seemed more annoyed. As more friends arrive, they needed to use the restroom. But, he made it very clear you had to buy something in order to use the restroom (even though a few of us had already bought something). He was VERY rude about it and stared us DOWN, making sure no one even dared to try to use the restroom if that specific individual didn’t buy anything. The whole vibe was highly uncomfortable and he made us feel very unwelcomed. I honestly was shocked at how he treated us as a business owner. Maybe he absolutely hates large groups coming in, but you don’t have to be nasty about it. My friends and I will definitely not be returning nor recommending this establishment. Since there are a ton more very friendly coffee shops in Sac.

I so love this place , and hands down, GoodSideCoffee is making the best coffee in town. So much love and professionalism in every aspect of their way of running the business.
I had to relocate my work place for a month, and desperately missed my cappuccino ❤️.
So glad to be back and be able to enjoy it again.☺️

Coffee was good, service was OK. Kinda slow. Music was so loud that the cashier couldn't hear us very well. It wasn't even interesting music, just a popular music mix.
Me and a friend came in to join my friends who were studying at this coffee shop. The moment we walked into the entrance, the owner was giving us a nasty look. I only sat down for maybe 2 minutes before we were urged to leave because "it was rude that such a large group of us only ordered one thing". There were 6 of us total, all sitting at one table. Me and my friend didn't even get the chance to order anything. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. Will not be coming back nor recommending this place to anyone if this is how they treat their customers.
Update: To clarify, one of my friends was a PAYING customer. If we had ample time to order (as to the owner's response below), then you are contradictory as you stated "after a few minutes" you let us know about your nonexistent policy, which you stated was "necessary given the large party" and "amount of space" we were taking up. However, this is false as we were sitting around one table in the corner while almost every other table in this establishment was open and available for customers. Had the owner came up to us and was polite and mentioned the policy, we would have been more than accommodating. From my "entitled" opinion, being kind keeps people coming back which is the reason that small businesses stay open, clearly.

This spot's awesome! I hit it up every Sunday like clockwork. Back when I was in San Jose, Chromatic and Cat & Cloud were my go-to roasters. Stoked that Goodside serves Cat & Cloud - it's my weekly bean fix for home brewing.
Oh man, don't even get me started on their pastries. Seriously, they're ridiculously good. Chuck, the owner, is super chill, and all the staff I've met are pretty rad too.
Honestly, I've got zero complaints... well, except when they run out of pastries by the afternoon (total bummer). The coffee's always on point, so you can bet I'll keep coming back. Solid spot all around!

Pretty good espresso tonic and nice space to work on a laptop. I kind of wish they didn't mix the drink, but it's nothing bad.

I really wanted to like this place! But my bagel sandwich was really chewy and hard to eat, and my lavender latte tasted like dirt. I’d be willing to try an unflavored coffee sometime… maybe the syrup was just old.
Everyone was really friendly and the space was very pretty. I loved the mural on the wall!

This coffee shop is amazing! It's kind of hidden under the parking garage, but if you find this gem, enjoy it!

The coffee they use is extremely good. Large open space. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good place to do some work online. Staff is super friendly and professional. Very pleasant and easy going atmosphere. Not a lot of food choices.

Large open space. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to have very good coffee and do some work online. Regarding the food and from what I see from a constant traffic of happy customers coming through, specially a young girl smiling as she bites into a chocolate croissant, I can tell how the pastries are. Staff is super friendly and professional. Very pleasant and easy going atmosphere.
