Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream Natomas

Now this is what you call ICE-CREAM! We have been coming here for a year now and we can never get enough, and neither can all the other folks. Cold days, rainy days, hot days and late at night, everyone seems to be stopping by to grab something from Handel’s.

My family’s go-to is the 4 Scoop Sampler where you can choose 4 flavors of your choice and it’s placed into a square bowl to go…and the rest is history! As for me, the small scoop (pictured) is a great size and the variety of flavors are truly endless.

Did I mention that customer service is the cream of the crop?! My youngest kiddo complimented how great the customer service is and was most impressed with Mya whom greeted us with a genuine smile and handled us with care ♥️

Being a long time resident of Natomas and an avid ice cream enthusiast I'm glad to see a place like Handel's enter our local commercial landscape and so eagerly bring in youth from the community to staff it. The ice cream itself is likewise excellent and is seconded in quality by no more than a handful of places I can recall, with their Oreo-focused ones in particular being excellent. I likewise want to commend Zoey and Mateo who provided excellent and friendly service on my visit this past weekend.

In short, for any interested parties Handel's is well worth the visit and I encourage it without reservation.

I can’t take it anymore, my family and I discovered Handel’s about two months ago and have been back maybe a billion times already.
This last visit I got a pint of the Mocha Almond Fudge Ripple, it’s perfect.
Their ice cream stores beautifully in the freezer, I’ve not one complaint except that it runs out too fast!
Thank you Handel’s Natomas for serving my family and I with the best ice cream in town!

I need to express my opinion of Handel's Ice Cream Natomas. I have been going since the place opened and even experienced withdrawal when it was closed due to a fire outside their building. One of the first people I met was Caci, whom I take for the manager, she introduced me to Chocoholic Chunk, and I've been addicted ever since. That said, I want to let everyone know that the "king" of the scoop is Dillion. I joke that I have to spend a lot of time licking up the edges. He is great. (makes the customer feel like they are getting their money's worth, which in today's economic environment is a lot) Then there is Hanna, whom, if not busy, and she sees me coming, has my cone ready when I walk up to the window. Then there is Yummy (sic) whom I have met once but will remember his name as I say YUMMY every time I eat one of their ice cream cones. All the staff are great customer relations representatives as they seem happy at their work, show it to the customer, and are enthusiastic with loading on the ice cream or drink. I lay this squarely on Caci's shoulders, if she is not the manager, she should be. If she has a say in the hiring, it shows. Love this place. Bill

Called to ask about allergen information. Ryan was especially kind and helpful! He confirmed the ingredients I was inquiring about and also informed me of their nutritional signage that is located in the store. Grateful for such wonderful customer service!

Great ice cream! The service was also great as well. Went in for a pint and ended up getting two.

I believe Carey was the employees name. She provided good service and a nice and friendly atmosphere.

Would recommend Handels, but like everything else nowadays, it's a little pricey. It's good to come here every once in a while. There are lots of flavors to choose from. It's great to come and cool down with recent hot weather.

I recently visited Handel’s and had an amazing experience, thanks to our server, Gurjot! From the moment we walked up to the window, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the flavors and helped us choose the perfect ones based on our preferences. The service was quick and efficient, and she even went the extra mile to make sure our ice cream was presented beautifully. Overall, Gurjot made our visit delightful, and I highly recommend stopping by for a treat and exceptional service!

Handel’s ice cream is located in a beautiful place which makes enjoying by your treat very relaxing. The employees provide generous scoops of ice cream. I’d recommend the sundae with a brownie to share amongst your friends!

Dietary restrictions: Not recommended for those with lactose intolerance.

Kid-friendliness: Highly recommend for kids, in our experience they were well behaved.

Wheelchair accessibility: Pretty wheelchair accessible. It is located outside and there is a ramp in the pavement.

My little one came here and tried the chocolate and vanilla Oreo ice cream in a dipped waffle bowl, which was delicious. However, what truly made the experience memorable was the exceptional service from a staff member named Charyn. She was incredibly kind, patient, and engaging, especially with my little one, who had the best ice cream experience thanks to her. Charyn’s warm and friendly demeanor made our visit extra special, and she truly made my little one’s day.

Kid-friendliness: Charyn was very friendly, took her time and being patient when my little one was deciding what flavors to pick. She was very nice and friendly!

Handel's is by far some of the best ice cream you can get this side of the Mississippi! I particularly appreciate the staff at the Natomas Store! They are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Not only do they have the best ice cream in town, they have the best service! Natomas Handel's can always turn my frown upside down :

Just an incredible experience all around at this Handel’s. I ordered the vanilla carmel brownie and it was just extremely delicious, an incredible combination of a lot of great flavors. Service was also excellent, I was served by Ishan and was treated with care and a beaming enthusiasm that I thoroughly enjoyed.
