Hanoi - 36 Streets is considered the best and most authentic Northern Vietnamese place in town. The food is excellent and delicious, with generous, large portions. Standout dishes include the garlic noodles, described as the best ever, especially with fish sauce fried chicken. The Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bun Dau Mam Tom, and Chao Long blood sausage rice porridge are all highly recommended. The pho is also praised as absolutely delicious, simple, and perfect. Service is fast and friendly with extremely friendly staff. Some notes mention the pho was just okay for one reviewer, and the peanut sauce wasn't that peanutty. The lighting is very bright.
