They never open when they say they are going to be open even though we can see the workers in the back. He happened to us a few times now. Inconsistent and waste of time and gas.
Love the whole blended lemon green tea!
Kid-friendliness: Lots of non caffeinated options, as well as bubble waffles :)

We drove out of way to try this again since we loved our experience in Seattle. However they were out of slushees and out of all ingredients to make any bubble waffle. Why even be open if you’re going to have to turn people away for what they came to get?

Always having problems, also I placed an online order and they denied it because they didn’t have the popcorn chicken or any hot foods and my money was taken. The cashier doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The phone number doesn’t even take you to anyone. This location sucks so badly it needs to go out of business
Their okay, not the best. I just don’t like how the slushies are premade. I want to be able to get a slushy with 0% sugar like everywhere else. I honestly think having a premade mix is lazy!
Extremly disappointed ? most undercooked Boba I'VE EVER HAD!Rock hard, with a small amount of slimy exterior. Boba should be mildly sweet with a gelatinous texture that provides a satisfying chewiness. But these were nothing like that, also, my brown surgery milk tea, had all the brown surgery glossed up on the bottom and not spread along the Inside of the cup.I do not know what type of training these kids get from HQ or Management, but it appears they need to be retrained and have some pride in their work. Also I ordered a taro and the taro was still in powder form at the bottom of cup. A mouth full of dust was gross.Let's just say I will not be returning and letting my friends know not to waiste time and money there.?

Likely just came on a bad day, but the passion fruit green tea I received was oversteeped which made it bitter, and the boba tasted burnt. It's the first time I've ever had boba with little bits of charcoal floating around in the drink. Can't say I appreciate the extra texture of charcoal!
The lady wasn’t the nicest but she wasn’t rude either. Just seemed like she didn’t want to be at work today! #relatableThe menu was very unique but I was surprised they didn’t have the classics.Overall though I was very happy.

Health inspectors close Sacramento boba shop Happy Lemon, 3660 Crocker Drive in Sacramento, had nine violations on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. There was no hot water at any of the boba shop’s sinks during Wednesday’s inspection. Sacramento County regulations require that the water temperature at food facilities should reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit. “Dried residue” was on the lower shelf of a table in the back preparation area, and there were dusty particles on the vent covers on the front of the ice machine, the inspection report said. Bulk food scoopers were stored inside bulk food containers in violation of the rules, according to the report. In addition, inspectors found that the boba shop’s food safety certification and employee food handler cards had expired.

I ordered the Matcha Salted Tiramisu cream cheese milk tea. It tasted like none of those words. The regular boba came with this brown sauce that changed the whole flavor of the drink. The milk tea with salted cream cheese - it was ok.Even though we ordered 25% sweetness, for both, it was still very sweet, and there wasn't any flavor of the actual tea, just sugar and the boba syrup.Matcha Bubble Waffle - nothing special.

I’ve been to this location twice. The first time they said they weren’t making any waffles. So I just ordered tea and left.Driving through Sacramento again and I stop here, it’s 6:30pm. The kid behind the counter informs me they’re out of batter for a waffle. And when I went to order tea only, he says they’re out of boba.I know it’s not hard to “make more batter” if that’s even a true claim. And to run out of boba on a Thursday at 6:30pm when you’re literally a bubble (BOBA) tea spot is ridiculous. Skip this location and go somewhere else.
