What did I get in place? Nothing but an extra charge.... sorry Hidden Dumpling House but this isn't right.Food is very liquidity and flavor is ok. I asked if the food was MSG and food flavor additive free before ordering, but I think this was false because my stomach is already reacting to the MSG. I am extremely sensitive to MSG and other such addictives similar to it.Atmo was ok, a bit stuffy, and strange placement of seating near the counter where you order is cramped.Staff are nice just have poor hygienic habits.Food came out fast and was hot, which I like when my food is hot not lukewarm, so good job there.

Me and my family go to the Elk Grove Hidden Dumpling House for the gluten free options. We went to this branch and it did not disappoint with the gluten free sweet and sour chicken and gluten free fried rice. I love this place and it is great that they have gluten free options for my sibling who is allergic.I will say that I wish that the gluten free dumpling was the same as the Elk Grove store, here the chicken cilantro dumpling is pan fried but the other store it is steamed. Hidden Dumpling House is a cozy spot with great prices, amazing food, and hospitable staff.It wasn’t too busy when me and a couple friends stopped by, Thursday 5:40-ish. We had a super nice server who was very friendly and funny.We got the garlic noodles, kung pao chicken, and the pork+cabbage dumplings. I thought the price was very much worth it. The quality was great?

Mixed vegetables and dumplings with pork, shrimp and chives were superb. Garlic noodles were decent, but could have used more garlic. Service was excellent. Vibe is a little upscale, but cozy/crowded. We'll be back.
