Came here on a Friday night and wow -- it exceeded my expectations! The sushi rolls were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted. Each hand roll felt like its own masterpiece. We ordered about 12 hand rolls (at $5 each!) and every single one was so good -- not a miss in the bunch.
The drinks? Oh man, good to the last drop! We tried the Spicy Go Go, Tamarindo, and Jungle Bird -- all were perfectly balanced and full of flavor.
The Chef and Bartender were both super friendly and welcoming. He even mentioned they'll have oysters coming in January and February -- so I'll definitely be back for that!
If you haven't been yet, Holy Spirits is a must-visit. Great food, great drinks, and great vibes all around.

The food is AMAZING. The hand rolls are made with quality fish and fresh ingredients and you can genuinely taste the difference. Don’t skip out on either the Albacore Carpacio or the Sicilian Sashimi — the sauce is perfect for dipping your maki or hand rolls in! The cocktails are citrus forward, not overly sweet and there are plenty to choose from.
If you aren’t from Sacramento this is definitely a spot to check out — it’s got everything the city has to offer. Great food, excellent service, and a beautiful ambience with super mellow vibes. Can’t wait to come back!

We've been here twice and have absolutely loved the food and drinks. We were super surprised to find such amazing Japanese food at the back of this bar. The hand rolls are fresh and delicious, the agadashi tofu is some of the best I've had, and the karage is lightly breaded, crunchy, moist, just absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! Cocktails are also great!

Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options such as avocado hand rolls, tofu, edamame, veggie sashimi, etc..
Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful in pointing out the gluten free options I could eat but I also went there knowing it would be difficult to find items as this is not a gf facility but I was super happy and delighted with what I had.
