I really like the drinks here! Whenever I'm close by, I try to stop by to get my boba fix. I usually get the matcha or sencha milk teas, however I have tried one of the fruity drinks and thought that tasted good as well. My boyfriend always tries a new small dish, and always goes back for the popcorn chicken. Parking can be scarce, but I've never had an issue and don't mind.

My friend and I were thinking where to eat at and she decided on this place. We came here on a Saturday night and I'm surprised there were not packed. Only a few tables were occupied and tons of parking spaces. This was my second time here. The first time was couple years ago but only had desserts. This time, I tried their actual food. My friend ordered the Honey D house special and egg puff. I ordered the pork sausage with minced pork over rice. The egg puff was good but it's pretty small. The honey D house special was bland. The rice dish was alright. It looks very flavorful and yummy but it was missing something. Maybe I'm not used to eating Taiwanese style rice. The service was slow and inattentive. The workers never came to check on us. We had to flag them down for everything. This is a small shop. Their chairs are benches. They have outdoor seating as well. Parking sucks when it's packed. The parking lot is small and it is shared with other surrounding businesses.

I absolutely LOVE Honey D, and many of my friends rave about this place as well. I know someone who even drives about 45 mins just to come and get her Honey D fix. Occasionally, I've had slow service when it's busy, or a few simple mistakes in my orders, but I figure it's regular difficulties with small restaurants. I must admit one thing- despite my love for this place, it's not on my way to work/weekly errands, and I don't go here regularly at all. However, every single time I come (which can be several months apart), the employees always remember me, and even sometimes remember my order from last time! The staff and the owner are extremely warm and welcoming, and always seem so happy to help. Occasionally when I order their mango snow ice (my favorite), they have added packed ice to the bottom of my bag so it will stay cold! I also have some trouble with my hands, and one time, an employee twirled and pulled the handles of my take out bag until they became soft and pliable to put my hands through. I was amazed at this attention to detail and how she took her time to personally ensure my comfort. This place is always packed and popular, and yet they take time to treat each customer with such attention and care.

Both my milk tea tasted straight up like ice, a tiny hint of caffeine and had a weird after taste when you drink too much. I should've ordered a regular. The bobas tasted old because when it slighlty fell apart in my mouth and the center tasted stale. It was super gross, I couldn't finish it. My daughter's strawberry ice smoothie ( I think that's what it was) tasted very artificial like it had a lot of artificial strawberry powder too. I probably just stick to my regular bobas place lol this one was just close by and had that grand opening sign up for almost a yr so I was like, "we'll give this place a try". Biggest mistake!

Ordered sencha boba milk tea. The boba was hard, not sweet or chewy. Tasted like if you made the 5 minute tapioca pearls and left it in the fridge for a day. The milk tea was fine. The staff was very nice though. This is a rating for the milk tea boba only. Didn't try their food.

I've been here before couple years ago when they first opened but I did not try their actual little flower pots! So I had to come back to try the desserts - their flower pots are definitely very unique! However, I was surprised how small they are, not sure if they're always been that small. So in the display, there's the pots with the pudding like or whatever it is. Then once you select which flavor you want, then they top it off with the "dirt" and toppings to make it like a cute flower pot! I had the green tea, red bean tiramisu one. The cost of one is $3.95. However, I didn't realized they "overcharged" me for a one. $3.95 for a flower pot but I get charged $4.82?? The math doesn't add up, tax isn't that much so there's something going on. I wonder if they normally charge that much or if this is their way of charging customers more without knowing - so double check your bill and question it! I took mine home to try. It comes with cute shovel spoons to eat it with, and it is advised to eat within 48-72 hours because there's no preservatives (so it doesn't stay fresh as long I suppose). In terms of the flavor and everything, I wasn't overly impressed. The design and concept is cute but I don't think it's worth it.

Taiwanese comfort food in a cute setting. I love their lu rou fan, and salt and pepper chicken. The food is fantastic, tender, crispy, flavorful, and filling. But they aren't fast,m.

Great food, affordable prices and quality service. I will be coming back more often. There isn't a place like this in Davis!

Small but nice. It has a relaxing vibe. The bathroom seat was broken unfortunately, but the desserts are amazing!

Decided to come for lunch. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was quick, friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a milk tea boba drink with our food. My husband got a noodle dish and I got a rice bowl dish called bibimbap. We also got some delicious desserts to go. I would like to come back and try some of their other desserts. I just wish the parking was better here. We found a parking spot easily this visit but sometimes it's hard to find a spot. Plus all spaces are tiny.

It's very good. Especially the dessert.
