Once again poor customer service. No free tastes and allowing reserved parties to lick you off a table long before their reservation starts. Easy solution: make customers reserve at the time they want to kick others off their tables. They have a 4.5 out of 5 record of putting the tastiest craft beers on tap. If you haven't been, go. The chances are slim that you won't find something you will enjoy. And if the beers on tap are not exactly to your taste, they make some mighty fine pizzas! A welcome addition to the neighborhood. If you loved coffee garden, the patio still has a bit of that feel.

Hop Gardens is hands down my favorite wood-fire pizza spot in the Sacramento area. The rotating beer selection is always excellent, and the open patio is perfect—super kid-friendly with games to keep little ones entertained, and dog-friendly too.

The wood-fire pizzas are consistently amazing, and the fried artichoke hearts are a must-try. I’ve never had a bad experience here, which says a lot. Great food, great beer, and a welcoming atmosphere—what more could you want?

Pretty killer pepperoni pizza, quality ingredients for about $20. They should cook the pizza longer tho, ours felt rushed and the dough was chewy still. Otherwise, delicious

First time at this place and the food was bit of a disappointment. We got 2 pizzas, The Hop and another one called Quattro and both were just ok. The crust was good but the pizza itself was very flimsy and some of the veggie toppings didn’t seemed cooked into the pizza and were just added on after. But the service was good, even though I just had take out order they were all very friendly and nice at the counter. Even though it’s conveniently located I don’t know if I’d go back.

Our favorite neighborhood pizza place and always has a phenomenal tap list, as well as a stellar to-go selection!

Visited on a weeknight with 3 generations - all ate, drank and played well. Happy Hour plates until 6pm. Played a couple rounds of Uno. Expect limited Street parking. Stellar ice cream 1.5 blocks north. Enjoy!

Great atmosphere with a nice outdoor seating area that was great for trivia night, which is what brought us there this evening. Pizza were great. The dough was amazing. We also had the loaded potato wedges and they tasted amazing with pesto sauce. Great selection of beers on tap.

This is the summer time spot . Great beer selection , awesome vibes on the patio. Their pizza isn’t the greatest, but it gets the job done. Come here for the beer and vibes 🤙
