I think the problem with buffets is sometimes the food can sit out there a while especially if it is not busy. The dishes that were in sauces were very good. The butter chicken was delicious and the samosas were absolutely delicious. The naan bread was made out of whole wheat flour, which I really liked.I had not seen that before. It was actually a pretty good deal.

Delicious food with good ambience. Stopped here on the way to Tahoe and we weren’t disappointed with vegetarian food served here. The lunch buffet had a lot of good options too. Would definitely recommend it to folks in the area, or visiting Sacramento.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. Food was great! I especially like the Chicken Tikka Masala. Service was amazing as well. They almost make you feel like you are being fed by your grandmother. I have tried bith dining in and the buffet, and both are very affordable. I will definitely be coming back to try more.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was incredibly hard to chew—tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. Nothing was fresh, and the flavors were completely off. To make things worse, the customer service was non-existent. No one greeted us, took ages to bring the food, and didn't check on us even once. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. Definitely not worth the time or money. Never coming back

Worst restaurant ever. We ordered chole bhature. The Bhatura was extremely oily and hard. We asked if we can have a little more chole since the portion they gave was very small. He said ok and brought the entire new dish “Chana masala”, even though we never ordered that. He added that in the bill and made a face that nothing happened. Will never ever go to this restaurant again.

very satisfied with my first visit to India Village. Owner is professional and very friendly. The buffet has good options, the place is clean, the environment is great to sit and eat. No wait time at all and the food was very good. Highly recommend to anyone.
