We had Jackson Catering cater our wedding reception and they were amazing from the get-go! The coordinators, Julie and Danica, were quick to respond to questions and so, so patient! I was trying to juggle multiple things as I planned this reception, so I asked them question after question after question. Sometimes they had already answered the question, but they were always so nice in their response—and quick, too! The food? I had so many compliments on the food! One of my guests—a well-traveled man in his sixties—told me, “I’ve eaten at more the 200 buffets and this is the best I’ve ever been to.” I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on their menu but a few highlights from ours:
• Cast Iron Crisp Chicken, Lemon Buerre Blanc
• Carved Angus Tri-Tip, Horseradish Cream
• Gnocchi, Light Pesto Cream Sauce Parmesan &
Fresh Herbs

The service? Top-notch all the way. I’ll provide an example: A server approached two of my guests offering them a potsticker appetizer. My guests asked if they could have the sliders. The server went back and retrieved the sliders. She then asked my guests if they wanted more. They did, so she went back and got the tray of sliders for them! That’s a lot of back and forth amid a crowded room, but the server made it seem like it was no effort at all.

I remember when my husband and I went to do our tasting at Jackson. The man working security in the lobby told us there was absolutely no one better in terms of catering. He was right.

My wife and I used Jackson as the caterer and bartender for our wedding on September 27 and I can't recommend them enough! Every part of our experience from start to finish was exceptional and seamless. We worked with Danica and Julie from the sales team, and they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. Our tastings were great, and they really gave us an idea of the different food options, of which Jackson has many. On the day of the wedding, the entire Jackson staff was professional and handled everything with care. The food was great and tasted exactly like it did during the tasting. We received rave reviews from our guests about the food and drinks. Jackson is great - 5 stars!

Jackson Catering catered our wedding this past weekend. We cannot thank them enough for all their help in making our wedding special! They were so easily, reliable, and responsive throughout the planning process. The staff who worked our wedding were so friendly and efficient! The food was amazing as well! We would recommend them to any couple about to get married :)

This company knows how to make some delicious food! I can't speak to any of the planning aspects, but my company has recently used them for two large-scale events, and I was taken aback by the increase in quality of the food from anything we had previously. At the first event, they provided chicken, steak, salad, potatoes, a vegetable medley, and this incredible rosemary focaccia bread. The sauces that went with the meat as well as the meat itself were super flavorful, and the offerings as a whole were a hit with everyone. I was impressed by how healthy and simple yet flavorful everything was. They just catered another event for us, and everyone loved the sandwiches (also made on the rosemary bread), pasta salad, and desserts. I wouldn't usually bother trying a brownie or a lemon bar from a catered event, but I decided to give them a try because of how good everything else had been, and I was blown away. They tasted like they were made with real, fresh ingredients and reminded me of homemade versions I had eaten in the past. I am truly so impressed with everything I've tried from this company and I hope we can have them cater all of our future events!

We used Jackson’s for my daughter’s wedding and they were fabulous to work with! The food was delicious and healthy, cooked perfectly and warm. They were also very accommodating- we asked for less sauce on one entree at our tasting and no problem. They also included a wine pour and cake cutting and did not charge extra where all other catering companies charged for everything. They provided the dish ware and set up, clean up- total one stop. They are professional and the staff is very kind. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely use them for the next event!

We used Jackson Catering for our October 2024 wedding and were very impressed. They offered a complimentary tasting so we could select our food and linens. The food was incredible! Our guests agreed wholeheartedly. One couple said they had been to multiple weddings that year and the food at our wedding was the best! Big thanks to Jackson Catering!

Jackson Catering was fantastic. My wife and I had them cater our wedding on 9/7/24 at Black Oak and the food was fantastic, our guests loved it.

From the beginning of our interactions Danica and Julie were amazing. They both answered any and all of our questions during our inital phone call and were super accommodating during our first tasting and final tasting. They are very communicative and replied to emails within the day.

I personally have a gluten allergy and they were able to make me a separate dish to accommodate my dietary needs for the big day.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. 11/10 will use them again.

Good Planning Terrible ExecutionWe opted for Jackson Catering based on positive reviews from the catering list, and despite our initial optimism, it turned out to be a regrettable decision.Initially, everything seemed promising. Danica exhibited excellent communication skills, promptly responding to inquiries. The complimentary tasting was a helpful touch, and they were accommodating when I requested a change to one of the dish recipes.Unfortunately, the turning point was the event day itself. The execution was the worst I have witnessed, and it undeniably left a negative impression on our guests.The late arrival of the appetizers and drinks during the cocktail hour not only disrupted the schedule but also created unnecessary stress and anxiety during what should have been a joyous occasion. Furthermore, the quality of the food fell far below the standards we were promised during our initial tastings. The taste, presentation, and overall execution of the appetizers (samosas & wontons), chicken tikka masala and naan were all severely lacking, leaving a lasting negative impression on our guests.This experience has not only tarnished our guests ' experience on a day we had eagerly awaited but has also cast a shadow on the reputation of your company. We expected nothing short of exceptional service, especially given the premium we paid for your catering services. Regrettably, what we received was anything but. I made sure to pay for extra food as noted in the contract; it was for 143 guests. Although only about 100 guests attended they felt there was not enough food.

My fiance and I have booked Jackson Catering for our wedding in May 2023! We went in for a tasting and the food was amazing. Staff was very nice and informative, they do it all on the wedding day from start to finish and the pricing was very reasonable. We'll see what happens on the big day but from what I've experienced do far, I think we are in good hands!

Jackson Catering absolutely delivered on our wedding day! We went with the Wine Country Cheese Station for the appetizer and it was completely gone after the cocktail hour. For dinner, we went with the buffet service. Their service was impeccable and it ran seamlessly. Our guests were able to get their food in a timely manner. Our guests and including us RAVED about the food. We recommend the Cast Iron Crisp Chicken and Braised Beef Short Rib!! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. I highly recommend them for your next big event!

Jackson Catering really delivered! We enjoyed two tastings before the wedding and were impressed by their personal attention as well as the delicious food. They were a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day and all of our guests RAVED about the dinner which made us feel great. They even accommodated our vegan guests who really enjoyed their entree. Be sure to try: Shrimp Tostadas, Lentil Fritters, Cast Iron Crisp Chicken, and Ravioli.
