This place is amazing! Highly recommend the bulgogi and the spicy pork bulgogi! This is my favorite kbbq place in Sacramento. The kimchi is so tasty.

This was our second time at JJ's and it did not disappoint.
The first time we visited we did the Lunch AYCE and thought everything was delicious!!! The sides, the quality of meat?? Perfection! AND we thought it was a steal for $25/person because of how much food you get and everything was just really good.
Now tonight was different... We did the single BBQ option and had pork belly as the only meat it came with BUT it had so much more sides like corn cheese and steamed egg which were also 🔥🔥🔥 best part? All for $36+ tax and tip. We went home very full and very happy with our decision to visit again.
Service was great on both times too! They were very attentive. Will be back to bring friends with us.
The only con was their tofu soup, it was bland but I wouldn't let that take away from all the good stuff 👍🏼

Had always come here for dinner, but our last experience was a nightmare. It was dead and we were the only two there but the foods we ordered weren't as we expected. No rice was served with our foods this time, and it was weird. Normally it was good services but now the services are getting worse. Our japchae noodle has fresh chewed mint gum in it when we opened it at home. We didn't do anything to get treated like this. We ordered just 4 dishes and the waiter complained it was a lot for the two of us. It is the usual dishes we ordered. She isn't paying for our foods so why is she complaining. The restaurant should be happy people are coming in to eat in their restaurant. This has been the worst time we have experienced in a korean bbq restaurant who provided poor customer services and contaminated the foods to their customers. One of the previous was stating that they were discriminated against. We felt the same. Would give this place a zero star across the board.

I recently dined at This K-BBQ and had a truly disappointing experience. Unfortunately, after taking my food home, I found a piece of chewing Gum in my Japchae meal. Discovering something so unhygienic and unexpected was shocking, to say the least, this goes beyond a simple oversight, it’s a matter of cleanliness and food safety. I have been to this restaurant multiple time, and I really wanted to enjoy the food and atmosphere, but this incident left me with a lingering feeling of doubt about the standards here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their quality control, Unfortunately, for now, I don't recommend it and please please let the management know if it’s a continues incident, they need to be inspected by Sacramento County and the Department of Restaurant and Food Safty Administration.

I ordered from the all-you-can-eat menu, but even though I hadn't eaten enough, they took away my menu board. I wanted to avoid wasting food, so I asked for smaller portions, but they refused. I've been to many buffet restaurants, but I've never experienced service like this. They mostly use frozen meat. When the previous owner ran the place, both the service and the quality of the meat were excellent, but now it's very disappointing.

The best KBBQ in sac that I've had. They hit the mark on almost everything only I can "complain about " is they lack side dishes but I'm not mad after everything I eat I didn't miss them only made a note when they brought them out after that I was in food nirvana. The staff was very kind and fast. I'm so happy to come back and enjoy them again soon.
