Went with a friend. We split the fall salad and eggplant reuben. SO GOOD! very cute atmosphere and super cheerful/helpful staff

Eat good small plates, deliberately brought out in well spaced courses, primarily vegatables transformed into something mindvlowingly rich, and then have an amazing cookie. Nothing not to like. Oh, and the beer selection is dank and local, too.

We liked the food. They serve small tapas type plates. One negative I can say is that they brought out each in the order they thought was appropriate. We would have preferred to just have our food and we could have nibbled as we liked. One dish came with flatbread. It would have been nice to get some from the start. Maybe that would have helped with my other issue. Wait, that was two negatives. Neither a reason to not go. Just be prepared. Would recommend.

The food is top notch; beautiful locally sourced ingredients that provide a home-cooked meal feeling and flavor, unique dishes that leave you craving whatever they will come up with next, and an expansive menu for having just recently opened. The owners are some of the nicest people I've encountered.

The only downside of this place is that they run out of food because it’s so dang good ?

AMAZING food. There’s something to say for restaurants that make sustainability and sourcing responsibly (especially in this pandemic) at the forefront of their business all the while whipping up the most delicious dishes. I’m obsessed. Must go. Regular spot.

We loved our dinner here. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. Our party of four shared the market board, the cucumber salad, smoked veggies, the lamb carnitas, crispy ribs, and the potatoes. Each dish was delightful. Impeccably prepared and seasoned. Pro tip: Start with the market board, and DO order the extra pita as you will want to sop up all remaining deliciousness throughout your meal.

Incredible service. And four more words. Fried green tomato sandwich.

My wife and I have had lunch at Joon before and I had the delicious crispy chicken sandwich. This time we brought friends and came for dinner. We started off with a bottle of the Rouge 2018 and the snack board. The wine was just okay and the snack board was excellent. Everyone really liked the chow-chow pickles and the house made pita bread was perfectly cooked. As recommended by the staff, we ordered food to be shared. We tried the marinated cucumber salad (very light, fresh and refreshing), the tomato bruschetta (outstanding and maybe our favorite thing we tried), the fried chicken hummus (a favorite at our table but I thought the chicken had too much fried crunch and not enough meat), the pork shoulder carnitas (outstanding flavor combination with the pork, corn, jalapeños, and tobacco onions), and the crispy pork ribs (everyone loved these ribs and my wife asked why my ribs couldn’t be this good ?). We ordered a second bottle of wine - the De Los Ranchos Pinot. Everyone thought this bottle was excellent at this price point. All in all, we all are in love with Joon Market. We all live on 53rd Street so are fortunate enough to be able to walk over to Joon. We all appreciate the seasonally fresh use of vegetables and the local ranch shopping for all meats that Saba and Seth do. The staff are attentive and helpful and the owner Saba is a delight. I highly recommend Joon Market!

Had the breaded chicken sandwich and watermelon gazpacho. Great lunch spot that's a quieter alternative to Selland's or Nopalitos across the street. This will sound insane: the chicken sandwich reminded me of Burger King's fried chicken sandwich, just really gourmet with fresh ingredients. It's tough to keep chicken breast moist and Joon does it well. Don't get me wrong, it tastes amazing. Order it!Watermelon gazpacho, A+Came out to about $30 all said and done for two people with tip.

Truly excellent. Every dish was wonderfully conceived and often surprising.

The root vegetables were perfectly roasted, with a wonderful nutty flavor. The potatoes, lamb fried rice, and chicken hummus were equally good. We'll definitely be back to try more...
