The best sandwich I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of them. I think it’s the bread, it’s perfect. It keeps the sandwich from being soggy, it’s crispy and flavorful.Also the woman selling the sandwiches is a ray of sunshine if you’re there because someone you love is in the hospital nearby.
Absolute best hidden gem in sac! I bring anyone in from out of town and it's always a hit. Super amazing staff, so sweet, always remembers us, one time she literally helped connect my roommate to a JOB. Could not love this place more, do yourself a favor and order the eggplant sandwich, it will surprise you!

Juno's is a gem on J St. They have a small menu, and they execute it perfectly. Between the sandwich selection & their signature entrees, you can't go wrong. Our go-to lunch is sharing the banh mi with the salad and a side of the potatoes. You've got to get the potatoes. To top it off the owner is an absolute sweetheart.

GET THE FRIED EGGPLANT SANDWICH!!! I'm speaking as a gal who loves deli meat... their eggplant sandwich is one of the tastiest things I've ever had. I can't even try other things on their menu. This sandwich is everything. Homemade bread that's the right amount of charred with herby sauces sends this place above any other sandwich shop. Absolutely lovely staff... but don't make any substitutions to their menu items. The shame is too great. Think "Soup Nazi". They know what they're doing. Order your sandwich and eat it. You'll love it just the way they prepare it.
