Disappointing Experience – Not Worth It
We had high expectations for Kebab N Chutney, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. The buffet was a complete letdown—limited options, cold food, and absolutely no attention to quality or freshness. The flavors were bland, and some dishes tasted like they had been sitting out for hours.
The ambience was just as disappointing—uninspired and uninviting. To make things worse, the service was barely average. While the staff wasn’t outright rude, they didn’t seem interested in providing a good experience either.
For the price, this place is absolutely not worth it. There are far better restaurants that offer quality food and a better atmosphere. Definitely won’t be returning.

Review for Kabab N Chutney – Best Indian & Pakistani Food in Sacramento
If you’re craving authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine in Sacramento, Kabab N Chutney is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the aroma of sizzling spices and fresh grilled meats that instantly make your mouth water.
Their kebabs are perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and served with the most delicious chutneys that add the perfect tangy and spicy kick. The butter chicken is rich and creamy, with just the right balance of spices, and the biryani is aromatic, loaded with tender meat, and bursting with authentic flavors. The garlic naan is soft, warm, and pairs beautifully with every dish.
What truly sets this place apart is their commitment to quality and authenticity. Every bite tastes homemade, yet elevated to restaurant perfection. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the service is warm and welcoming.
Whether you’re a fan of street-style chaat, smoky tandoori dishes, or rich curries, Kabab N Chutney delivers on all fronts. Hands down, the best Indian and Pakistani food in Sacramento! Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Definitely a place to go! First time trying this place since my Mom wanted to go, got their lunch buffet which was really good. Place was clean and staff was friendly, we were probably the first ones in there and had fresh naan given to us and fish pakore were hot. The tandoori chicken was cold, but had good taste still. Naan was soft and little crunchy, perfect, the goat and chicken curry was amazing along with biryani, the butter chicken was not my favorite but still good, we all have different tastes, and to top it off, the cold “kheer” at end was just amazing. When we got up to pay, the man at the register was very friendly as well, idk how it is when it’s busy, but I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area, for the price of that lunch buffet, you’re stomach will get full and that’s exactly what u need in this day and age in this economy LOL!

I found a big cockroach in my chapli kabob and it came with no bread. The customer service is really bad. The roach was deep fried and had no legs.

Everything was stone cold when we went in at 1;45 pm. We left without paying after trying the chicken tandoori which was as hard as a rock.
