Meh. Not worth it. If you're looking for real Japanese food please go to Akebono on Freeport. I ordered Katsu Don and my husband ordered beef rib ramen. Both were not impressive at all. Katsu was severely overcooked and it was not even saucy which resulted in super dry rice. Akebono's Katsu Don's portion size was way bigger and it's a lot a lot tastier than this. It's truly a disappointment. My husband's ramen was also weirdly season. It's got mushroom and sprouts in there which is odd. With a $20 ramen, they should've given more beef rib rather than just one. Will not visit again.

This place is never disappointing. The sushi rolls are awesome and there are various options for Ramen. Small place but worth it.

Food is great, staff was hilarious, setting is small but peaceful. Ask for Tim and his recommendations.

Don't sleep on Kansai. This spot is very underrated for their sushi and ramen. My go-to is the King Kong roll. It's so massive, I can only eat half and usually bring the rest to-go. Their calamari is pretty good, too, but instead of putting shredded carrots on top, they should put fresh slices of jalapenos. That would be a game changer! Service was pretty quick. I went on a weekday around 1pm and was seated right away. The ambiance is very casual and a place to stop by if you have an hour to spare for some good, quality food. Parking is tricky but since Starbucks next door closed, you are able to find parking there, if you're lucky. Thanks, Kansai! I am looking forward to coming back to try other menu items.

We stumbled upon this gem of a Ramen shop on a rainy day in Sacramento, and it was the perfect find! The hearty bowls of Ramen truly won us over. They were generous with their portions, serving up plenty of noodles that were cooked just right. And let's talk about that broth - oh my goodness, it was beyond yummy! Rich, flavorful, and comforting, it warmed us up from the inside out. Whether it's pouring rain or not, if you're in need of a delicious and hearty Ramen fix, this place is an absolute must-try. Plus, the service from the wait staff is exceptional, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Small, cozy spot with bar seating for some good Ramen Soup- broth was rich and flavorful so much so the noodles were flavorful. Delicious. I'll definitely be back for the Ramen Soup. Gyoza and Sushi was decent. We got there just in time before it got super busy with a small wait time.Downer: Parking - is difficult and tight.

Immediately acknowledged. Attentive service. Many food options. Great Tan Tan Men. Drove over 30 min in the rain to try this place. Awesome dinner. Will definitely be coming back.

I just picked up my order and the staff was super prompt with making sure I got my order, and they are super nice and friendly. This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in the area, the food is amazing and the staff is nothing short of that as well.

Overall score 4.5.Cute hole in the wall ramen shop. Ramen prices are on par with current inflation environment of $16-17ish/bowl. Got the tan tan ramen which had excellent broth, a bit thinner consistency vs others but still flavorful. Beware the chili oil, while I can handle heat, can stick to your throat and make you cough so may want to have less added. Great service! Even nice enough to give me extra kimchi and bamboo shoots on the side! Knocked down half a star as the partially cooked typical ramen egg had a very solid yolk so overcooked and had little flavor vs other places.Place is a little small and fills up fast so come early. Will be back on another cold day!
