Happen to be in the area and looking for a place to eat. Googled restaurants and this was in the list, so we decided to try. The young man greeted us and went over the menu. The menu is simple and the food came out pretty quick. It all tasted delicious and we were full, so we packed up the leftovers. During the day is BBQ and at night, the bar/lounge opens up. We will be back!

The AA restaurant is fantastic. We hired Mr. Kaylos and staff to cater our Family Reunion in July of 2025. The food was great; and he and his staff were professional, friendly, and they made us feel special in how they went over and above in the preparation and serving. I definitely recommend Kaylos Barbecue for catering or to frequent his restaurant often in Sacramento. Emma Williams

The mac & cheese had no seasoning, the beans too sweet for my taste, the greens done perfectly, potato salad was good, links good, ribs just ok, not a huge fan of the marinade or seasoning, slightly dry but not tough and was sent with no sauce to make up for the dryness. This was a door dash or I would have grabbed BBQ sauce.

This place is seriously good. Have been going here since they were at the old location and can only notice the food being better every time i come again. Meat is fall off the bone and they don’t charge some outrageous prices compared to what ive payed for similar items at other nearby bbq places.

The ribs were old and the chicken was dry and that was not nice at all. Potato salad has good taste but it’s been pulverized to mashed potatoes , beans have good flavor and the greens were bland. $80 was wasted.

Every employee i interacted with was kind and cool as F. The sides were all good. But my 98 year old, white, great grandmother who grew up on a farm in sonoma seasoned her meat more than this. The ribs and chicken were both bland and dry-ish. The links were great, and clearly bought and not made in house.
Was just driving by could smell it from the road. Ordered Ribs and Hot Link with three sides greens baked beans and Potato Salad. Special shout out to the Ribs big lean and juicy beans had lots of meat in them. Staff was friendly will definitely be back again

The food was great! The service was great! The ribs, the sausage were both tasty. For my sides, I had the beans, potato salad, and the country greens. I'm not a big fan of greens. The cashier talked me into getting the greens as a side, and I'm glad that she did. They were delicious! The only other time I've had greens, I did not enjoy them. Turns out, I just hadn't had well made greens.
Can't wait to come back here!

We were pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent. A lot of restaurants claim to have good BBQ, we've been disappointed but Kaylos delivers the goods!

It was out of everything. Ended up with fatty beef rib and a double portion of greens which mostly was stems and a lot of turkey meat.

The ribs and chicken were cooked to absolute perfection — easily the best BBQ I’ve ever had. The sides — mac and cheese, filthy rice, greens, and beans — were insane, packed with flavor and made with real care. The staff was polite, welcoming, and kept the vibe positive the whole time. I’m already planning my next visit!
