There is so much incredible Vietnamese food in Sacramento but I constantly find myself coming back here for beef pho. They cram so much flavor into the broth but it is still light and gentle.

This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

Know this place from before pandemic era. Happy they survived. Still large portions for great price. Knowing their tasty soup pho is serving in a biiiig bowls, this time I ordered spring rolls with shrimps (chicken and tofu were othete options)for $7.25. I didn't know they charge minimum $10 from card. The lady offered me to chose a drink for the rest but I did not want and agreed with $10 charged. But lady was so kind that brought me extra egg roll. Which was so nice. Very small space inside and very popular place during lunch time. But line moves fast. My friends ordered pho and chicken noodle. And barely could eat half of the bowl. Highly recommended!

First time coming here and I enjoyed it very much! I’m from out of town and this place definitely hit the spot with the pho and banh mi. Egg rolls were delicious, but I’ve had others that I prefer in my opinion. Service was great and the food was hot and ready within ten minutes of sitting down. I don’t know what full authentic pho tastes like according to other reviews, but people need to take a chill pill when it comes to their reviews and giving 1 stars. Seeing the people working in there reminded me of when my family owned a restaurant and it brought me right back.

Very good food for a little hole in the wall in Sacramento. We were cruising around for work and found this hidden gem. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Small no frills lunch spot, small menu but very good food. Pho, sandwiches and vermicelli bowls. I work downtown and go here the most often. Viet approved!

I ordered the Tofu Bahn Mi. It was delicious and the length of my bottom arm! I also ordered the spring rolls. All food was delicious. You can walk here while staying at downtown Sheraton.

Great food. I work downtown and eat here every week. Fast healthy food made with fresh ingredients. I often get the Bánh mì sandwich to-go, because it’s quick and delicious.

I like the eggrolls and banh mi, but the bbq meat portions are pathetic. Maybe 2 oz. of pork came with the bbq pork dish. The meat was pretty much a garnish. $15 for an eggroll and bowl of vermicelli is not a great deal.

One of the Best Pho I've ever had!!

$8.99 banh mi sandwich. Is this the best value lunch in the grid?! HUGE portion. Lots of meat inside. Packed with pickled veggies and fresh herbs. Sliced jalapeño for kick. I tried pork and chicken today--and had a hard time finishing two halves plus I have an entire sandwich for tomorrow! Pork is probably my favorite since it is flavorful and moist. Chicken was a close second, leaner but also great. Bread was perfect and fresh. Guy at the register was talkative and friendly. I saw the woman in the kitchen listening for my order. By the time I paid, both my sandwiches were ready and wrapped to go in the window. I am so impressed with their service--especially for lunchtime it was so speedy! They accept cash and card payments. And convenient bike parking right in front.

This is a mom & pop restaurant located near Chinatown. Service was friendly and prompt.
The pork banh mi was my favorite. Pork was super flavorful.
The beef combo pho was also good. Soup was a little sweeter than I’m used to. May a little too much msg but overall good portions and tasty bites.
The chicken and shrimp pho was a similar broth. Again a little sweet but good all around.
Toilets are reached by going through the kitchen so it’s really as Mon and pop as you get. Definitely worth the stop for some Vietnamese food.

I love this place! When we walked up to the restaurant there was a line out the door and we almost left but SO glad we waited (and we didn’t have to wait very long)!
Quick service, generous portions and reasonable prices.
The chicken and shrimp pho was rich and flavorful and the chicken/shrimp were both super tender. My husband had the beef pho and said the same, delicious rich broth and perfectly cooked beef.
We don’t live in Sacramento but anytime we are passing through we will be stopping for lunch at Kim’s Restaurant :)

This is my favorite place for banh mi in Sacramento! They actually have the correct ratio of meat to veg in the sandwiches! Also their pho and rice/noodle plates are amazing too. The place is small but the service is fast and friendly. I try to come here every time I'm downtown!
