Delicious huge bowl of beef pho. Was absolutely stuffed. Reasonably priced for large order of pho I received. Definitely get there early if wanting to dine in as seating is very limited. Bookmarking as one of my favorites in Sacramento.

I ordered a large phở tái with beef on the side and cooked bean sprouts. My phở came out with meat already cooked and with raw bean sprouts. They didn't give me a soup spoon, water, or tea. I didn't want to make a big fuss, so I kept it.It would have been okay, but the waitress came over to say she was sorry the beef wasn't rare. I nodded and told her that the sprouts were also raw, not cooked as requested. She tried to tell me they were cooked, and I left it there. I didn't want to engage anymore. The food was good, but the service was not. So, don't tip when you pay at the counter. Bring cash and tip accordingly afterward. I wished I did because I generously tipped 15% when I paid before I got my food. Big mistake!Final note: they've been at this location since the '90s, at least, and they don't seem to care much about customer service since they already have their state workers base. At least, that's the feeling I got when I was there.

Being in the road I eat out alot at times. I'm glad to have found my new Pho spot. Clean, good service and the Beef Pho is fire! If I eat at a spot 2 days in a row it's the one. Today was my second day. I will be back. Mmm... Good!

I've been working downtown for almost 20 years and this whole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant is one of my favorite go-to places for lunch. It is very small inside with limited seating in the front and some more seating in the back. If you do go just expect to be a line out the door. It's the same family who was owned and operated the place for many years. Be sure to try there Vietnamese sandwiches and beef noodle soup which they are famous for. The beef noodle soup is a huge serving. If you aren't feeling well or just want some delicious authentic beef noodle soup, this is the place for you. You can get a large Vietnamese sandwich for under $10. $10. You can get six large egg rolls for under $7

Really nice! This was really yummy! We ordered Pho, BBQ chicken sandwich, and some fried rice. Sandwich was really yummy, pho is ok, and rice is really good! Definitely would recommend for anyone who likes Thai or Vietnamese food! There’s no restroom though, but overall, really good restaurant!

Simple menu of Vietnamese food. I appreciate the variety for a place smack in the middle of downtown sac, on J street. The people working there are vietnamese so the food isn't gentrified or expensive. I got the beef pho and that's what I expected, not a lot of frills but great for when im craving easy store bought pho without going to South Sacramento. Quick and easy :)

Excellent food, very nice people. An easy place to overlook, but don't. Dining room is small, lots of takeout. Enjoy.
