My favorite Thai restaurant in sac county. The vibes are nice, the drinks are good, and the food is good. I always get the satay, the sauce is the star really.
Chive Cake – Crispy and delicious.
Curry Puff (V) – Nicely seasoned potato filling, very tasty.
Pork Rib – Unreasonably small portion for the price. Extremely dry (seems like it was fried earlier and reheated), overly salty, and I don’t understand why they added vinegar.
Satay Chicken – Two very plain chicken breasts, and the sauce doesn’t taste like satay at all.
Khao Soi – The curry sauce and noodles are good, but the chicken leg is bland—it tastes like plain steamed chicken.

The boat noodles and curry soft-shell crab at this Thai restaurant are truly authentic and delicious. The flavors are well-balanced and memorable. However, the service staff felt a bit understaffed, and improving service would make the dining experience perfect.

Beef Satay: Grilled sirloin skewers with yellow curry & house peanut sauce. The beef wasn’t very tender, but the sauce was rich and tasty.
Pad Thai: Tangy tamarind sauce with chicken, tofu, egg, and peanuts. Classic and comforting and very similar to pad thai you’d find at a Thai restaurant
Massaman Curry: Creamy, aromatic, and spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, cloves & more. Served with a tender stewed chicken leg, potatoes, and peanuts. Different from other Thai curries I’ve tried. it worths trying

Ordered a few items to try. Green curry chicken had good heat but too sweet to my liking. The chicken massaman curry was also too sweet for this typical dish. Chicken is boiled but lacks a little flavor. Tom Yum had less heat with some heat. Good amount of ingredients. Pad thai acne be skipped. Shrimp clay pot was okay with large shrimps. Thai tea was decent.

Other tables had staff pouring water for them, but at our table they just left the water on the table for us to handle ourselves — yet we were still charged a service fee. When it came time to pay, the staff didn’t carefully check the bill and simply told us the amount was short, even though the total we paid was actually correct. This experience felt careless and disappointing.
Kin Thai was an absolute standout for me because it blended authentic Thai flavors with a fine dining presentation. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt sleek and elevated, yet still warm and inviting. I tried their curry dish and was blown away by the richness of the flavors - it had just the right balance of spice, creaminess, and depth. The plating was beautiful, something I don’t always expect from Thai cuisine, which made it feel extra special. The service was top-notch, attentive without being overbearing. It’s the perfect spot when you want something flavorful and refined.

This is just my personal opinion, but I found the experience to be average. For me, it didn't live up to its Michelin star.

I have not found a really good Thai place for years until I went to Kin Thai Eatery. It was beyond delicious and authentic. Great service too.

This is the most beautiful Thai experience I've had in Sacramento. The atmosphere is street style with the food intricate plating. Every dish is unique and specific. Their drinks are perfect, not overly sweet and adjustable if one needs. I have a soy allergy and this is one of the few Thai restaurants I can eat at.
