Ye Beg Tibs
Lamb. A small cubed lean lamb meat marinated and sauteed together with mild Ethiopian spices (berbere option). Onion, garlic, rosemary, serrano pepper, and fresh tomato. Served with injera or rice.
Doro Wot
Chicken stew. A national favorite dish of Ethiopia, marinated chicken stew cooked with a mild spiced (berbere) onion, garlic, cardomon, tomato-based sauce, served with a hard-boiled egg and chicken drum, home made cheese Injera.
Ye Beg Alicha
Lamb stew. A slow cooked lamb with turmeric, onion, garlic ginger, potatoes and carrot.
Kitfo with Ayib
Homemade cottage cheese.

Collard and spinach cooked with onions, garlic, ginger, and fresh chillies.

Miser wot, kik alicha, shiro wot, cabbage, gomen & spinach with Ethiopian flat bread (injera) rice.

Chicken Tibs were full of flavor! Injera bread was fresh.

Staff were kind and accommodating.

Come for the food, which is outstanding. The vegetable platter in particular is something special, but you can’t go wrong with any selection as long as you can tolerate the appropriate spice level chosen.

Inside seating is limited, there are no options for groups larger than two or three people. Everything is made from scratch, to order, so expect at least a twenty or thirty minutes wait. This is not fast food, but quality, made with care and devotion.
