Almost $10 for the most basic breakfast bagel and it wasn't good. You can get breakfast for half the cost at Mahoroba bakery.

I was looking for a quick sandwich since I was waiting for a friend at the nail salon around 230pm on Monday saw they where going to close at 3. Order a salami sandwich on a bugette, chips and small coke was $17 something but this was within walking distance so it is what it is. Sandwich was good liked the salami but needed maybe more lettuce and maybe spinach or some spring mix if being charged $12.75 make it a little fancy for that much. Always wanted to try this place at least I can say I've been there but won't go back only if my last resort and every where else is closeed.

It’s sad to see La Bou go downhill. I got a combo salad and sandwich. It cost $17.95!!! Completely outrageous. The restaurant also has such a sad feel to it. Papered over display cabinets and always dirty floors. They have one of the best caesar salads around, however.

I LOVE La Bou By The Zoo!!! They are my absolute favorite place to go. Every single time I go I always get the basil chicken panini, it cannot be beat. I've tried other items in the menu and those are always good too. I highly recommend this place, I love the people there and the atmosphere it's so nice there!

Great local place for good lunch staples.

I say this with love because we patronize this cafe regularly, but the coffee quality has really gone down lately. It is bitter and burnt tasting, even in a latte (!). The coffee quality was never the highest, just sort of middling - but now it's just simply bad. Please work on the coffee and I will certainly update my rating!

This review is ONLY as to the croissants and the raisin custard pastry. I remember the AMAZING pastries from years ago--just like France. Not now. Flaccid croissants and limp custard wheels, barely baked (no discernible custard), with no differentiation from bready stuff. The lamination is poor, it does not taste authentic. Sorry, I've tried to patronize this place but after several recent tries I cannot in good conscience say this place is worth the money for these (expensive) items. Cannot comment on the food otherwise.

Delicious lattes. We come here often. This time we had hot bake croissants with turkey and cheese, bowl of cheddar cheese broccoli soup. Yum. Only complaint is the staff here can quite rude. The only friendly person here is a young slim boy who buses tables on the weekends. He’s nice and welcoming every time.
