Best pan dulce in Sacramento by far. I grew up coming here & now bring my kids. They have bolillos and make some with jalapeños & cream cheese but they sell out. They also own the grocery store and where the hot food is sold. Theres always a line for the pan dulce & hot food (carnitas, buche, tortillas, masa, to-go burritos, tamales, etc) especially on weekends so expect the wait.
If U looking for the best pan dulce in the Sacramento area La Esperanza is definitely where U should go. & They have a great variety to choose from. It will definitely be hard to choose which one will be Ur favorite.
Ever since moving to Sac from Fresno we had been searching for a good panadería. So happy to have finally found one that has tasty bread and nice workers. Their selection of bread is good although I do notice they have a substantial amount of cookies so if you like them then you’re in luck. They also have a bit of groceries inside so if you wanted a quick snack or some tortillas you can buy them there too. Their bread is sweet and fresh, consider visiting.
