This place is armed to the bone with security. Follow the smell of chicharrones (fried pork things). The food place that serves it will have very low prices for traditional Mexican fare. I paid $3.25 for a chicken burrito and it was poached chicken with rice and refried beans. They did not add anything else so be prepared for that. I paid $13 for the same thing somewhere else in sac for chicken stew inside of the burrito so that’s 75% cheaper to order it here… that being said the lines are out the door and long. I waited almost 20 min to place my order and retrieve it. Make sure to ask them for salsa with your order after you get it too. They’ll gladly hand it to you.
Parking: Be kind to the homeless nearby. Really annoyed I saw people giving dirty looks to the guy that was parking his bike and was hauling a cart. Mind your business. That could be you one day you low life pos.

It seems like they are going downhill with their tamales. Last few times I’ve gotten them, they do not taste as good as they used to. This last time there was very little meat, basically consisted of sauce. I was pretty bummed & will not be going back for tamales anymore.

Today the security guard disrespected me by telling me that he does not speak Mexican, when I am not Mexican, he said it in a very derogatory way. It is obvious that he has no education and is a starving Mexican. I won't go back to that place where they treat you badly.
