The best pan Dulce in Sacramento area hand down. The smell of fresh pan Dulce as you walk into the store sends goosebumps down your spine and you can't wait to bite into a concha with a little Cafecito in hand

Tamales are seriously the best . Can’t find any other better ones around. Never dry and generous portions of meat

What a gem! Hiding in plain sight! I got a shredded chicken burrito (all lean meat) and a carne asada taco for around 7$ WHAT?? The carne asada was thinly shredded, tender and delicious not like cheap beef. No gristle or chunks of fat. Also it was BIG for the price 3 stars for atmosphere only because it's a little grocery store in a modest older building. The people working the counter were warm and welcoming. If you want your money to go further and still get some good authentic food check it out. To go/takeout only, great fast stop for a meal!

Best carnitas! They also sell several varieties of tamales. There is always a line out the door so plan accordingly, especially around the holidays.

Very good traditional Mexican food and pan dulce.
I really like the enchilada sauce, i don't normally order enchiladas anywhere else. And omg this place is food for The People, it's very affordable and satisfying, so there's always a line to order (to go only). My asian ass don't mind waiting in line for that amazing low price

My elderly mother came in for chicharones , 6 beef and 6 cheese tamales. We get home and they only gave her 5 beef tamales. Could have been an honest mistake or they tried it because she is older and they knew she was trusting and going to think everything would be there without having to check. Very disappointing. I understand they get alot of service and are busy but take time to count RIGHT.
