Food is amazing

This place never fails no matter how long the wait is. The cheese and jalapeno pupusas are Michelin star worthy as are their artery clogging beans (they have to be 50/50 lard and beans). Only drawback is the hood they are in.

I've been coming here since I was little. Their food is good. But lately I've noticed their employees have a very ugly attitude. Makes you not want to come back and deal with all that.

This is the only place my family and I come for pupusas. They are perfect and yummy every time!
Only down side is they only take cash so come prepared.
I love this place. I’ve been going here for 20 years. It’s cash only tho so be advised.
I wish they accepteded card. This place is cash only and when you order over the phone, they can't tell you how much your total is going to be a head of time. I arrived with $50 in my hand and asked the lady if she could tell me how much it was going to be. She looked at my tab and said about $40, she rang my order and it came out to $61 and change. Oh well damn, now I have to find a place with an ATM. The inconvenience was inconvenient! The smoke shop next door has an ATM but conveniently it's out of service. I went to 711 and took out $20. When I arrived she had a long line and she was waiting for me to arrive to pay her. I don't know, I feel like the whole thing can be avoided if they would just update their system and the fact that it's a cash only they could find a way to let customers know how much cash they need to have on hand.
The best papusas! Order ahead & bring cash.
It's hard to find good Salvadoran food in the Sacramento area. The girl answering the phone just said hello. I had to ask if I had the restaurant. She said yes and that was it. I had to ask if I could place an order. It was like pulling teeth. Curtido had no flavor. I fixed it up at home. There was onion skin and a whole piece of cabbage in it also. Pupusas were burnt. Sopa de pata was very disappointing. No flavor and had a slight sweet taste. This place was the best years ago when Edith was the cook and Annemarie was in charge. The second La Flor on Fulton is amazing! I thought I would try this place again but I won't be back. 25 years later and it's still cash only? Who does that nowadays?

Authentic pupusas but they do not take ATM or Credit
Very bad service, they serve you as if you are asking for a gift! On more than one occasion.
