Amazing setup, outdoor seating has a tucked away and spacious feeling. Interior seating is very cozy.
The food is delicious. The chicken tacos with pico de gallo are crisped to perfection. If you’re looking for something more basic, the bean and cheese burrito is large and savory. Even the simple chips and tomatillo salsa are salted well.
The only time staff came around was to collect the table number.

No refill drinks, no actual service, everything you have to stand up and grab it, the menudo wasn’t even menudo was pozole, non of the waitresses speaked Spanish, way expensive for what it actually is, $41 dollars for 1 plate of “menudo” I small piece of flan and some eggs
I came here from an add on fb that said they would have menudo and hand made tortillas and I ended up getting grocery store tortillas.

these reviews have to be lying. Extremely gentrified version of Mexican food. It’s a restaurant but you have to order at the counter ? Weird. Daily special was the size of a shot glass no lie. I live close by and wanted to give them a chance. Left and went to Mayas. Will not be back!

My absolute favorite place to go! Everyone is friendly, food is fresh and always fast. Love the daily specials and the patio of lovely.
I had the daily special - the Shrimp Ceviche. Nice size shrimp with tomato, onion and cilantro with lemon and lime juices introduced to intensify the flavor all accompanied by some avocado and chips. The perfect lunch. Fantastic!

My wife and I have lived in Oak Park for 5 years now and one of our absolute favorite dates is a walk across the park, a couple of margaritas and tacos from La V! Carnitas is #1, Vamprio #2 but they're all delicious depending on the mood you're in. Also, the Enchiladas with Mole is ?

Unexpected gap in my day, dropped by to get lunch. What a SURPRISE ! ALL food made from "scratch" & you can "taste" it in every bite! 100 yr old brick building given a new life. The owner's, 3 generations live in the neighborhood. Staff Jeannie, w/ the long ponytail, bartender/server, Stacy are a wonderful, welcoming, friendly new friends, to get to know. Look out for the team in the kitchen! Bravlio the magician & his Lovely assistance, Natalia & Maria.?They know what they're doing! Love in every bite. Prices affordable & the pleasure, indoor, outdoor dining, soft din of conversation makes it worth your time.
