Family-owned business, great atmosphere and vibes, and the music was great! We went for a Bad Bunny album celebration, and it didn't disappoint. The owners and staff are wonderful. It definitely feels very Boricua 🇵🇷, but what's nice to see is that all cultures come out to Lola's and celebrate our beautiful food and culture! 🎉 #FamilyBusiness #GoodVibes #Music #BadBunny #PuertoRico #Culture #Food #Celebration

The decor was inviting and unique, the service was good, the food was okay. I have heard many amazing things about the restaurant and had high hopes, but was left feeling a little let down.

The food was delicious. And it all almost brought me back to my childhood.. taste like my Pops cooking .
Every time I come here the vibe is right. Small staff so food takes a bit but who cares. It’s worth the wait. My go to is the vegan bowl.
We have been to Lola's twice now and it is a great experience. It is Puerto Rican which is a bit different. Staff is great and the food delicious and plentiful. It does tend to get loud but it is tolerable. Food service is a bit slow but the drinks are great and make a good placeholder. I have to say it is a plantain lovers dream!!

Great Sacramento spot we just discovered! Fabulous flavor, warm and trendy ambiance, good service even when busy. Definitely coming back! We had plantain combo appetizer, salmon dish, and plantain lasagna dishes plus spicy margarita and mojito. All great quality and pretty competitive value. Apparently they have entertainment some nights too so will be looking out for that!
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly we saw several families. At the same time great place for date night or solo diners

Restaurantji Recommends
Second visit; highly recommend the Boricua appetizer! The Ropa Vieja and Carne Guisada then un flancocho! Yum!
I’m so glad that my wife’s friend recommended this place!
It’s very good and they have their own style of preparing dishes you would expect from a PR restaurant. Service was great very friendly, though I get the same reaction from everyone who hears me speak Spanish, they respond to me in English 😩.
The Mofongo I ordered was very good but I would have enjoyed more plantain in it mixed with the very nice Pernil. Arroz con gandules very good as well. My wife had the Arroz con Pollo, her first try of an authentic PR dish and she enjoyed it.
Give them a try! Sangria was perfect!
