Long Island Ice Cream

The Icecream flavors are always rotating with some delicious treats from not only California but Oregon and various creameries from all over. Plus the friendly service and good atmosphere is a great place to take friends or family for a sweet treat. Currently they have the Oregon Carmel carousels that is a vanilla salted Carmel mix with taste treats inside. Also customers service is exceptional!

Literally the worst service I have experienced in recent memory. First off, the young brown hair kid who looked 14 at most was unbelievably incompetent. Mumbled answers when asked. When asked if they had a flavor, he stated "I dont know". I asked again do you or dont you. He said no i guess. Asked if you can change the type of soda in the floats. He said it would be extra. Thats right. A 9.50 large float is extra if you change the soda. Never ever heard anything so ridiculous. Either this kid was stoned or just miserable. Either way, kids were crying because they wanted a treat. Unfortunately, the treat was to be treated with horrible service. Almost all their ice cream flavors were out. Insanity. Go somewhete else.

Edit: Absolute ridiculous response from the owner. If the employee has a cognitive issue, that is unfortunate. My requests were not demanding. I do not want anything from the owner. The kids disability was not the reason you were missing 70% of the ice cream option. The kid was not the reason you charge 9.50 and extra for a float. The service issue is one thing. You trying to grand stand on the kids disability is ridiculous.

What a great hidden gem! The service was top notch, the place was very clean, and the ice cream was delicious! They serve lots of flavors of ice cream, and have yogurt, coffee, and smoothies. Highly recommended if you're in the area, pass by and get some amazing dessert

Great service by the woman behind the counter. I saw her being so patient with some rude customers. Also she made our banana split really well. I only wish the business had other option besides single-use plastics and styrofoam dishes. Like metal spoons for example. I wonder if I brought a dish or a Tupperware, could I get my ice cream served in my own container? Delicious ice cream. I recommend black cherry and mocha almond fudge. Banana split is definitely enough for 2-3 people.

Weird energy. Asked for sample and the guy explained they only put a tiny sample on top of ice cream you buy, I had no problem with that but the girl at the register seemed to be annoyed when I repeated what they said back to them (genuinely for clarification because I had never heard if that before) so we just left.

Great service and ice cream. I've only been here once 20+ years ago. But didn't remember much since I was still a kid. Finally came back today and it was great. Service was top notch and the ice cream was great. I can't believe I've passed by it all this time and never once went in to check it out the past years. I will definitely frequent this shop more, and try some of the unique flavors they have.

This place has the best ice cream in Sac. Its always really quite when I go in, but the staff is super nice and loves to interact with their customers. Wish they had sugar-free options.
