I went to pick up some dinner for my family yesterday, 12/19/2023. The cashier was super nice and friendly. And super fast! I had my full order in like 3-4 minutes! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I live almost 30 mins away and this was worth the drive.
I hadn't been here in years, this was my favorite spot as a kid. They did not disappoint one bit. The food was so fresh, and hot. Not at all greasy or soggy. Biting in to a hush puppy was like biting in to a childhood memory. 10/10 will smash again.

Very consistent food here, like the old school LJS. The restaurant is dated, but it is always clean, especially the bathroom, soda machine, and the utensil/sauce bar. Staff is friendly and professional, always helpful. I love LJS and it is difficult to find these places anymore.

I'm surprised that LJS still exist. I don't care what anybody says, I like their fish and chips. The hushpuppies are golden brown. The Alaskan pollock is delicate. The batter is well-done. I douse everything with malted vinegar and don't forget the tartar sauce.

Ordered 12 pieces family meal, half fish, half chicken. Got 8 pieces in one box and couldn’t tell which was chicken or fish and 2 pieces in a smaller box. Went inside to clarify but the girl inside had an attitude. I left. Monday 11/27/23 between 4pm and 6pm. Though it was only 2 pieces short the attitude after a long wait at drive through felt like conmanship. Not coming back
