I was hesitant on coming here because of the mixed reviews. However, Louisiana haven't did not disappoint! Everything was cooked perfectly. We got the catfish shrimp and Fried Chicken. Nothing was overly greasy. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. We got the sides of the collard greens, potato salad and red beans and rice and Mac and Cheese. The food was good, but just a little on the salty side. The hostess was lovely; she was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and would like to try other items.
Cool local spot. Ordered the catfish with mac n' cheese and potato salad. Catfish was fried too hard but the flavor was cool. Mac n' cheese tastes homemade and was really good. Potato salad wasn't how I like mine but everyone makes their's different. Service was great. Overall not bad for the price.
