We had a surprising visit to Lucid Winery. Truly Amazing place, where human and environmental ideals surpass commercial temptations. As Dutch visitors accustomed to the european wine world and no amateurs on wine tasting, we were curious about the wine scene in California. We struggled to find an opening to the wine world of California but this place was it. The atmosphere inside is incredible, the building and interior speak only of character. The story of its creator is one of idealism, the story of their vast menu of self made natural wines just as good. All thanks to Michael, the sommelier who took all the time to tell the stories. And then the pricing, really breaking with what is custom in these parts and standing proof for their mission to make wines available for the people. We left the place today energized by our visit. Thank you guys so much!

Met the winemaker and his girlfriend today at the Farmer’s Market in Sacramento. First, they are lovely, kind humans and passionate about wine. The Cab and Chardonnay were excellent! I purchased three bottles (great price too). Looking forward to visiting their tasting room soon. Cheers!

I just found out about Lucid and ordered five wines. I have only tried one wine and it was amazing!! I tried the Wanderlust California Red Wine Blend. This is medium bodied red that is amazing cherry berry flavors with tobacco undertones. This wines was absolutely fantastic. I cannot wait to try the other wines. Definitely a 'go to' wine. Will be checking out the location downtown Sac for sure.

Cozy and beautiful set up. The type of place to sit in, have a cute social gathering & create some local memories. Safe atmosphere friendly culture and educated staff that made being here fun. My absolute recommendation wait they also had books to read or buy!! I’m a reader so I advocate for the people to tune out of these phone sometimes reading/watching social media post for hours try read a book or magazine in those times. Great Books, Great Wine, Great Time.

I recently had a client refer me to lucid so I brought a friend to check it out. Jerome started our tasting off with an apple hibiscus mocktail with a lemon sour rim that blew my mind. We loved the variety of wines and ended up going home with a sparkling Albariño. The live music, books, up-cycled decor, and local art were such a beautiful touch ! I would highly recommend lucid for a bestie day out or any events. Thank you Jerome!!?

If u went here and didn't click 5 stars, you must've been having a bad day prior to arrival and if u didn't leave happy then that's your fault cause their Staff, and comfy environment with plenty drink variety and games and snacks, has everything not to do with whatever u had goin on prior to visiting my new fav wine tasting spot.Overall 6 stars

Very charming and eclectic ambiance for a midtown winery next door to the famous Fox & Goose restaurant and pub on R Street. Lots of room if you want to stop by and buy a bottle of their wine or just have a glass of wine. Lots of free games and a small library in the back if you just want to kick back and relax. People stop here to work and also to study while sipping on a glass of wine. They also have a large back area with tables and a more secluded area with a large table for private events. Lots of little trinkets and unique things to look at. Family friendly and dog friendly too! They also have a bunch of free board games. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

This is a gorgeous event venue with ties to local merchants to help you throw an amazing party. It was booked for an event I attended and the staff were helpful, organized, and knowledgeable.But I want to talk about Jerome. Jerome made my night truly special. He has an insightful understanding of the aroma, flavor, and experience of cocktails, wine, and spirits. He made tasting his creations an Experience that I simply won't forget. From his enthusiasm in explaining, to his joy in finding something that just suited my tastes, and this despite serving other guests with gusto and vigor. I will be returning on my own, often and with pleasure.

Went on Father's Day with my family after having a meal at Fox and Goose and we had a great time here. The owner was very welcoming! I am pregnant and he was able to accommodate me and make a flight of mocktails which were amazing! It was nice to feel included while my family drank actual wine. We loved this place because it is so family friendly. Will definitely be back!
