Our family absolutely loved our lunch here. The four-meat platter was very reasonably priced and was absolutely delicious - all the meat was tender and we loved how it was not overly salty to begin with. This allowed us to better enjoy the tasty barbecue sauce. We got tritip, brisket, ribs and chicken and they were all great !! The ribs especially were outstanding and the chicken (dark meat). The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next meal here !!

Mac Que's catered my wife's birthday party and it was amazing! They delivered exactly when they promised, set it up nicely, and the food was amazing. This may become a yearly tradition for us.

I and a friend were in Elk Grove looking for a BBQ place so we stopped in Mac Que's BBQ. We will be back and the brisket is the Best in the West and Sacramento Area.

Although Mother’s Day is supposed to be all about your mom, I was secretly jumping for joy when my mom suggested that we order BBQ (one of my favorites). I was even more excited when she mentioned that she wanted BBQ from MacQue’s. As a little backstory, MacQue’s has always held a special place in my heart. Back when the restaurant was located on Power Inn road, I would frequent the establishment to order a hot link sandwich generally in between classes when I was going to Consumnes River College (early 2000s).

Since I’m a creature of habit, I was tempted to order a hot link sandwich for good time sake. However, I decided to take a walk on the wild side and try something new. Being that it was Mother’s Day and we placed our orders late into the day, they were sold out of trip-tip and a few other items. Therefore, I was forced to order something that I wouldn’t normally order, but turned out to be delicious…a hot link sandwich with brisket!

The sandwich with the already applied 50/50 sauce was good; however, when I applied the small cup of hot BBQ sauce to the sandwich, it truly came alive (flavorful)! Similar to my experience back in the days at the old location, the customer service was great and I treated like a cousin supporting family business. I will definitely make a return visit in the near future (early in the day to ensure that inventory is intact) to try their tri-tip sandwich!

I have been eating Mac Que's BBQ for a very long time. They are the best in Elk Grove. I have never had a bad meal. Meat is always smokey, juicy, and full of traditional BBQ flavor. Definitely try the brisket and house made hot links. Don't skip the chicken either. Actually, just pick up the 4-way and get all of them and some ribs. You won't be disappointed. Cowboy beans and mac'n'cheese as sides for sure.

Only giving a 1 star because they dont have a 0 star. Absolutely horrible food. No flavor on the dry chicken , brisket, or pulled pork. Potatoe salad was Reesers from the store Beans were Bush's baked beans. And the service sucked complete ass. Most horrible wanna be bbq place I have ever eaten at. $112 for 5 people, and we took most of it home for the dogs. DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!
