2cd time here. Food was bomb again 🔥

I got the 3-Way , with brisket 10/10 , tri-tip 9.5/10 , home made link hot 8.5/10 w/ baked beans 9.5/10 and potato salad 10/10. I love their HOT bbq sauce.

My significant other got the 2-Way, with bone in chicken she rated it a 9/10 and ribs were rated a 9/10 as well. Her sides were baked beans and the mac and she enjoyed both.

Last time we got the pulled pork as well and it was a 9.5/10 , this place is definitely worth the try!

I went to mac ques BBQ, great ribs and Tri trip there for sure, the pulled pork is good. The brisket is ok, it’s not tender and it’s kinda juicy. The Mac n cheese is not great. The naked beans are good but to sweet. The rolls were kinda stale at 6pm. In short it’s worth it but it depends on what you order. DONT get the brisket, DO get the ribs. And the only real bbq sauce you should get there is the spicy one, it’s not really spicy and it gives much more flavor.

Mac Que's BBQ is a must if you are in Elk Grove. The food was very flavorful, the portions were generous and they are very reasonably priced.

I had a two-way rib plate with Mac n Cheese, mustard greens and a corn muffin and a beer for $25.

I will be back!!!

I haven’t been to this spot in a while, I had a taste for some BBQ. I ordered ribs and brisket with a double order of corn. The ribs were tasty but on the verge of being dry and the brisket was totally dry, I don’t think I would go back, I had to go purchase my on ribs to cook, what a disappointment.

I’ve had nothing but great food and service. The prices are right and portions are plentiful. The staff is friendly. I have had family from out of town want to go back.

Got the two meat dish, brisket and tri tip, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Meat was dry, and old, Mac and cheeses was 5 out of 5. Nothing special for the potato salad, Spicy barbecue sauce was on point. Bread was dry.

I hope they cook better than they drive because they darted in front of my bus this morning with NO signal and was darted in and out of traffic the same way on Florin this morning!

Ordered half slab of ribs sauce on the side.... Ribs were tough and dry, very salty and tasted day old like they were yesterday's leftovers no sauce included. I want to purchase a half chicken only sauce on the side (one 2oz cup of sauce for a half chicken... I suppose that is what I would have gotten for a half slab of ribs also) the rude cashier says I can only purchase the chicken dinner so I did... I told the cashier I wanted extra sauce which he didn't add to my order I circulated 10.00 dollars for sauce!!!! Ridiculous!!!! I left a 3.00 dollar tip which I took back from the rude classless cashier and presented it to the young lady who did all the work. The cashier, who was new to the job which was evident, acted as is he was related to the owners. I'm not sure if he is or isn't. However, I do know he's way to comfortable in his arrogance and lack of knowledge of the menu. I'LL NEVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! There are way to many barbeque establishments where the food is good and service is great....

Our family absolutely loved our lunch here. The four-meat platter was very reasonably priced and was absolutely delicious - all the meat was tender and we loved how it was not overly salty to begin with. This allowed us to better enjoy the tasty barbecue sauce. We got tritip, brisket, ribs and chicken and they were all great !! The ribs especially were outstanding and the chicken (dark meat). The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next meal here !!
