Enjoyed a wonderful Christmas eve dinner here last night. The food (mixed dumplings, Singapore rice noodles, garlic green beans & fish fried rice) was great, and the portions were big enough that we probably have 2 more meals to enjoy at home. The server was kind and helpful. The menu has changed somewhat, with more emphasis on dumplings, but Macau is still our go-to place for delicious authentic Chinese food at a very reasonable price.

There is no other restaurant in Sa Cun, the price/performance ratio is very high, three dishes are only 34.99 yuan! Visit often and it tastes so good! Highly recommend the stir-fried beans and ginger chicken, you will never get tired of eating them. American Chicken has put a lot of effort into making it feel like Guangzhou’s free-range chicken! The meat is smooth, the chicken flavor is rich, and the stir-fried beans are the most delicious among all the restaurants I have tried in Sacun! High cost performance

Excellent little home-style Chinese/Portuguese/Italian cuisine but primarily Chinese, in recognition of the history of Macao. If I lived in this town I would eat here every day

Good restaurant for comforting Chinese food. Not as busy as it was during pre-pandemic times.

Lots of easy parking and well priced foods. Macau also has 3 dish specials for about $35 that good for a family meal, and daily lunch specials that include drinks. Nothing fancy but the food is a local favorite.

My daily go to cafe, offers variety of lunch and dinner menu, special wonton noodle very similar to HK or Macau style, not able to find anywhere else in local Sacramento, you won’t get wrong ordering wonton noodle and stewed beef ho fen (flat rice noodle)2nd photo is the pig intestine wrapping sticker rice, I know it might be overwhelming a bit if you are not familiar with Chinese food, this is a special and unique dish

This place was the first place I considered to be a real authentic Chinese / Hong Kong restaurant that I grew up with. Not the Americanized/ Western Chinese food you get. The food has become average, less items due to Covid. It's still passable in a pinch. They have specials between 2-5.

This place is delicious! Where my family goes for some good food, can’t go wrong with any of the dishes!

The food was deliciuos and came pretty quickly. We did have to ask for larger plates and water, they brought tea out right away though. We brought 2 young kids (5 &1.5) and they both loved their meal and the 5 yr old loved the lazy susan in the middle of the table. Consider bringing your own cups for young kids with lids as they don't offer them. Otherwise it was excellent, we will be back!

Still a good bang for the buck. Not exactly the same as pre-pandemic, but what is? Still tasty.
