The most amazing, farm to fork seasonal menu! The dishes are both creative and sooo delicious! Magpie is in my top 3 places to eat in Sacramento! Come hungry so you can try both small & large plates and don’t miss out!
Husband, adult daughter and I came here for my birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. We started out with the panko fried asparagus and were thrilled with it. Local "grass" with a marvelous sauce. We were all delighted with our entrees, which included the pork chop, the greens pasta, and the trout, which was actually almost like salmon. Magpie is BACK!! Well, they didn't really go anywhere, but they did partner with an old chef that has brought back some classic Magpie flavors while also spicing things up a tiny bit. Chef Brian, is a Magpie OG who has returned to his roots with a new confidence and some new additions to the menu while keeping the classics, classic. If you haven't been recently, get in there! It just keeps getting better and better each time we go!
