We love Magpie. The food is EXCEPTIONAL, healthy, delicious. The owners are welcoming as are the rest of the team. We sat outside on a beautiful day for this meal...one of the best places for food and experience in Sacramento.
Food is creative and delicious. We loved the special , pork served in a puffed dough. Only complaint was that it was loud inside. Not sure if the music is always that loud, but we had a hard time hearing each other.
Magpie has plenty of menu options whether you want just a small bite or a big meal. Service was excellent across the board from our host to our server and our busser. Everyone was attentive and pleasant. I had the black cod and would order it again. Their Oktoberfest option was yummy and refreshing. Ambience was dim and loud.
