I love sushi and poke, and I am not at all a picky eater. I got the citrus salmon poke bowl for $14 and it was insanely salty and had an unpleasant flavor. It tasted like tide pool water. It's the first time in my life I've thrown out a meal at a restaurant to go eat elsewhere

If you've never tried a sushi burrito, get down to Make Fish! If you like sushi, YOU'LL LOVE THESE! For me, they have the best in town. And OMG! If you like spicy, get the Volcano Nachos!!! I was angry when I got mine because I hadn't been getting then my whole life! Crunchy wonton chips topped with all kinds of spicy sushi goodness. One of that best things I've ever put in my mouth. My favorite burrito is the spicy tuna. But try everything and you can choose your own ingredients too.

I love this place!!! The food, staff, and restaurant are excellent. It may be hard to find marking here because it's Midtown/downtown Sac, but they really fill up your poke bowl. I always greeted by the staff when I walk in, and the restaurant isn't large, but average. There's also outside seating. I usually get my orders to go, and the staff sure knows how to fill my bowl up. I appreciate getting my money's worth!

This restaurant is obviously one of the most pleasant place to eat in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am greatly glad. They manage their high level service and the topmost level of food they provide. You definitely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

I've had a sushi burrito before from Temakitto in LA and this place is just as good! It's definitely worth to try the sushirrito at least once in your life. Also, they're huge, so you may want to share it with someone!

Didn't know I needed this until I had my first bite. Now I'm hooked. The spicy tuna burrito is my recommendation for anyone wondering what they should get!

I did a build your own bowl. They have laminated menus you can mark up with a dry erase marker. They have many different pre-determined combos but I wanted to customize it myself. Also this way I could get a small bowl with 2 scoops of fish. I got the salmon and tuna and topped it off with so much stuff: green onion, mango, edamame, kale, crab, seaweed salad, cucumber, masago, pickled daikon, and tossed in their homemade ponzu sauce over zoodles. There were plenty of zoodles and the bowl was overfilling with all the toppings. But I think there wasn't that much fish. Also the fish was cut up to tiny pieces (smaller than I'm used to) and so maybe that made it seem like there wasn't that much. It was definitely filling and it took some effort but I finished like 95% of the bowl. I thought the pickled daikon was going to be like the strips they serve in banh mi or at Korean restaurants but these were half moon sized and yellow and had a different flavor so I wasn't a huge fan. A small bowl is $12 out the door. Not bad and I was stuffed and mostly satisfied.

My coworker treated me to lunch here, so I was super excited! Grab a menu and a marker and choose out what you want in your poke bowl! The prices were pretty decent considering where it was located. The staff here is fast and friendly. My poke bowl tasted good, will have to come back and try them again!

Came in today with my gf on her birthday. Gone here plenty of times. This time would be the last. They have a new guy to us working, who took our order. Ordering went fine until we received our food. The same guy brought our food and we received the wrong item. When we showed the guy, he argued and got extremely aggressive over his mistakes. Continued reminding me that my gf ordered it and that I was incorrect... when I showed my receipt, showing that I did get the wrong item. He continued arguing until he was yelling inside the store. When I asked for the manager, I got someone who wasn't trying to help the issue. She let the employee, who was wrong and arguing with me tell his side of his ignorance and stupidity filled story of how it happened. She gave me $15 off of a $75 dollar order, no apology for the inconvenience and continued to let the employee act like a pos. Will be the last time coming here. Manager Netsy is a horrible manager and will bring his business down, if this is really okay for an employee to act.. Go somewhere..

It's worth a try for sure! Love the fresh ingredients, the creativity and the portions are pretty good for a poke place. We ordered spam musubis both regular and the one with the egg....i honestly can go WITHOUT the lettuce in it. I just wish the nori or the seaweed wrap they use is crunchy not chewy. But I appreciate the thicker slice of spam! We ordered the pork belly fries also. It was good but had some technical issues. The flavors are great and the sauce they use is legit. But they failed on the pork belly! I wish they used deep fried pirk belly not rendered or chewy wet pork slices. After a while it got kinda sickening. But if they just used crispy deep fried pork belly, it would compliment the texture well with all the cheese, mango and sauces. The karaage dinner playe was good but if you have peanut allergies it may make you kinda itchy for some reason. The karaage burrito was a good sized portion and was reasonably priced. SUMMARY: Ordered: spam musubi, spam musubi with egg, pork belly fries, karaage dinner plate, karaage burrito, and huli huli chicken plate. Price: about $70 Taste: flavorful, umami is there and mixture of fusion hawaiian and Japanese is well executed; the mango sauce or whatever that taste was, does not have to go on everything Texture: pork belly needs to be less slimy and chewy but more crunchy Portions: worth the price; had a lot leftovers Parking: it can be difficult but plenty of options Service: friendly staff and they take orders well and timely

Got my Sushirito here, and it was awesome! It's just like a giant custom Sushi roll, so good. They also create a special giant Cucumber Roll for my daughter, since that's her jam. Unfortunately, my wife didn't really think their Hawaiian was up to snuff. But this is my review and my Sushirito was yummy.
