Nice little place with goid tasting pizza. I like the thin crust and bread. Cheese tasted fresh but I was not impressed with the toppings in terms both quality and quantity. Price is really good 12.50 for two big slices that will fill you up and drink. If convenient go enjoy

One of my favorite pizza spots in Sacramento hands down. We got the combo pizza and it was a 10/10. The pizza was so tasty and actually stayed together unlike other places. The staff and security guard there were amazing and quick. I would definitely recommend to try this spot out!

Tried a pesto slice. I'm not from NY. This one is good but it was on the floppy side for me. I like a crustier crust. The pesto tastes like the jar pesto from the grocery store. I'd go again in warmer weather if a friend wanted to meet here. Super nice guys at the counter.

I tip a man can’t even get ranch sauce. Not to mention the quality. First time and last time.

Awful customer service and a grease triangle that they call New York style pizza. Get your pizza somewhere else.

Marilyn's has found its niche serving the late-night crowd, but that seems to be where the ambition ends. The pizza is excessively greasy and not in the charming New York slice way, but in a way that leaves your stomach questioning your choices. For the prices they're charging, you'd expect at least competent execution, but it's clear the business model relies on serving people who are too drunk to care or have no other options at 2am.

I get it! That’s what i went! There’s a captive audience stumbling out of bars looking for anything hot and edible. But instead of rising to meet that opportunity with decent food at fair prices, Marilyn's seems content to do the bare minimum and collect the cash. It feels less like serving a community and more like exploitation with extra cheese.

The one redeeming feature: security on site. Given the vibe at late hours, it's a smart touch with the rowdy and hangry crowd.

I’d recommend drunk DoorDashing Taco Bell over this, probably cheaper and definitely better quality.

Awful service but good pizza. They are frauds in that they took so long to make two pizzas and tried to charge me double.

The pizza itself was pretty underwhelming, the dough was really spongy and soft, the sauce on their pesto cheese slice tasted very watered down as well. Not super impressed by the slices they have BUT. Their staff are super cool, had a great conversation with them while I was waiting for my food. They also keep a pretty clean kitchen, it's right there in public view and that's something I appreciate.

Its a fine spot to go to when everything else is closed and you know you need something to take that drunken edge off.

I came in hungry and left with the sort of general malaise only the genius possess and the insane lament — because I now know what perfect pizza tastes like and I’ll be chasing it forever. The crust was crisp and the sauce balanced, and the toppings were generous without being heavy. This place ruined me for other pizza in the best way.

If you like New York style thin crust and crispy, this is the place for you. It's a quick in and out pizza slice shop with a few tables Definitely my favorite in Sacramento.

A hole in the wall pizza spot. The pizza is over priced at 7$ a slice. I expect more then a greasy mess falling off the crust at that point.

This pizza spot in Sacramento delivered a surprisingly comforting experience. The crust was warmand light, with a gentle chew that carried the flavor of slow fermentation. The sauce was bright without being overwhelming, and the cheese melted into a perfect, satisfying blend. The staff were genuinely kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the meal feel personal. A heartfelt, memorable stop.

Don’t get me wrong the pizza here is actually decent, my two star review is because of the online ordering situation. I ordered a whole pizza online and chose the asap option for pickup, i got to the store 25mins later only to find out the order hadn’t even been started yet. For some reason when you order online the system puts it on hold for certain period of time (why have an asap option then?), this doesn’t make any sense to me and was pretty frustrating. It would have been quicker to walk into the store and ordered as they would have started making the pizza shortly after, it even says on the sign out the front of the store ‘order online for a quicker pickup’? Yea not so much… on top to that we had to wait outside in the cold as there no room inside to wait.
