I love it here! I am a frequent patron and I am constantly blown away by the customer service provided by staff at every level and position. My only gripe is that sometimes the rooms/bathrooms don't seem cleaned well enough.

Remodeling at the moment, but I can tell uts going to make this hotel to look n feel even better. Really nice location by UC Davis (no food options nearby, but 1-2 miles away you can find anything. Recommended

Way over priced for the service u get. We stayed bc we live almost two hours away from Shriners Children's Hospital & our son had an apt really early in the morning. So, for convenience, since the hotel is literally right across the street, we stayed the night before. But staying here was anything but convenient. There was a $250 deposit, which is not including the actual cost of the room: $200+. And my husband said he was fine with the deposit bc we'd get it back. Though on his card he was charged over $300 for the deposit alone. He called & they said they didn't know why he was charged the extra, which is rather concerning in of itself. They said they would straighten it all out, but in the end, I dnt think we even got our full deposit back. Which is ridiculous bc we left that room in better condition than we found it in. Housekeeping is really slacking around that place. Broccoli was left in the now warm fridge from the last ppl who stayed there. But that aside, for the price, the rooms aren't even that nice. Paint peeling off, walls cracked, etc. Normally I wouldn't care that much about the appearance, but if I'm paying nearly $500 a night (or mor) as they got us for our deposit, then I wana feel like I'm in a 5 start hotel. Or complimentary meals or something. Bc I mean, even the food was way expensive. And how u gonna charge ppl for a bottle of water too? Shame full.

A few complaints for this hotel, my coworkers stayed for 1 night separate rooms and we all had separate issues.
The room was nice and looks clean but theres a unique smell when I entered the room. When i checked the bathroom there was a pee not flushed and started staining the toilet bowl.
Other coworker was given the wrong keycard and opened the wrong room other people was shocked and immediately came down to ask for a different room.
Last issue was the air conditioner turns off in the middle of the night because its set for 67 degrees but its freaking hot inside the room aint no way its 67 degrees

It’s cheap and you better not expect much. Not clean pillows or working air conditioning or decent food. Even the coffee was sub par.
Unless you are on a business trip where you can wright everything off or someone is in the hospital i wouldn't stay there. Rooms are nice and have a microwave and fridge which they better cause no continental breakfast. Also thin walls like others have said. Don't forget the 20$ a day parking on top of the price of the room. Anther annoying thing was house keeping would come around at like 9 in the morning when checkout isn't even tell 12:00

mini Starbucks inside the hotel lobby, all the good stuff but with only one employee they can't keep up. not the employee 's fault though as I saw them multitask as much as possible even while slow customers hesitated ordering

Great proximity to UC Davis medical center. The hotel rooms are clean and nice, there isn’t a lot of lights in the rooms and the walls are quite thin, but the other guests were very respectful of keeping things quiet. I loved the pool and access to the free weights in the fitness center!
