Third time here. The ladies at the front desk are the best! I didn't lower the star for the service we received from the reasturant service from the girl who served us. I am not sure if the reasturant is connected to hotel. We waited over 20 minutes for our food,we were only ones there, and we had to ask for our food to get it.
Clean and convenient for any patient care or events at Shriners Children’s Hospital, UC Davis Health, UC Davis School of Medicine, or the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. Standard Marriott amenities and convenience, though on a slightly smaller scale.
Cafe had no vegetarian protein options. Gym was small. But service was great, spaces were clean, and it was super convenient for the conference I was attending at the time. This is not your jumping off point to explore the highlights of downtown or midtown but it’s a great option if you’re in Sac for healthcare. Overall it was perfectly adequate.
Great place
Plenty of space - the rooms/suites are as big as an apartment. Friendly staff - quickly delivered a large cup of coffee after I informed them that the coffee maker in my room wasn't working. Slight confusion with my check out time. Two issues that cost them a star, but really, a good experience overall.
Go elsewhere! No free breakfast. $24 a day parking. Weird A/C. Small rooms. TV hard to watch from bed. Only one TV viewing chair.
We were in town for a quick overnight. The location to downtown & local dining was perfect. We would stay here again, if we had an event in the area.
We stay here because I have treatments at UC Davis hospital across the street every 2 months. The staff here is wonderful. The rooms have just been upgraded and are warm and inviting.
Disappointed the hot tub is broken and they aren't fixing or replacing it. They have a friendly café there, a little pricey but there are restaurants you can drive to.
The rooms on the outside brightside are noisy when garbage comes around 530 or 6 AM. Get rooms poolside for less noise.
Paid parking in a lot next to the Children's Hospital seemed very predatory. There's no valet, no garage, and the parking is collected by a third party app with poor customer support. There's not a lot to say about Courtyard. Nightly rate is usually cheaper, but you pay it back in breakfast and parking fees. Compared to some Courtyards this one is a bit more up to date, I suppose.
Beds are hard, parking is expensive and no complimentary waters.
Good location but rooms could be cleaner. Front desk lady could be nicer. It felt like we were an inconvenience when checking in, but she wasn't doing anything else.

Clean, friendly staff and very convenient location.
Water shut off without notice, was getting ready for convention meeting
I love it here! I am a frequent patron and I am constantly blown away by the customer service provided by staff at every level and position. My only gripe is that sometimes the rooms/bathrooms don't seem cleaned well enough.
Remodeling at the moment, but I can tell uts going to make this hotel to look n feel even better. Really nice location by UC Davis (no food options nearby, but 1-2 miles away you can find anything.

Excellent stay. Quiet and had all the amenities that we needed. Has a pool and gym for the use of guests and very clean.
