Lunch in the bar on Thursday or Friday is about as good as it gets--great atmosphere, great food! The calves liver and mashed potatoes is gourmet.and they make really good margaritas.

Great night and great food at Mattone, we rated one star down because we ordered a nice bottle of Chardonnay to drink with dinner and our waitress set the bottle on our table after pouring us a glass and left it there! She did not ask or offer us an ice bucket for the Chardonnay so by the time she came back around and we asked her for the ice bucket, our Chardonnay was already warm. She acted as if it was an imposition when we asked for a bucket also!! Every waiter or waitress should know that white wines should be iced, so bring the bucket when you bring the wine!

Nice, intimate Italian restaurant. Great service and nice flavoring on the food. They are also very open and flexible...if you want a sauce served on a different dish substituted for the dish you would like, no problem. We will go back soon.

Went to dinner 4th of July weekend and had an Amazing dinner. You have to try the 12 Layer Lasagna. It's perfect texture and taste is to Die for .Love this place can't wait to go again.

Excellent as always. Chicken ravioli, a special, was really good, and the lasagna was awesome. Service was a little off, but our server was new at the restaurant. Otherwise all was perfect.
