This is NOT Mexican food! What a joke. Any taco truck has better authentic Mexican food. The food is bland and doesn’t look smell or taste like real Mexican food. The service sucked too. I got one beer and after a 3 hour dinner experience they never came back to offer a second cocktail and never refilled our waters. We all left with cotton mouth and looked for another place to get a snack an a drink. Wow. Do not waste your time and money here. Bad food and hideous service.

The food was really good. The kids enjoyed the rice and beans. The enchiladas were good, the sauces were flavorful, and the guacamole was fresh. The chile relleno was delicious.

The vegan menu was more interesting, we had the spicy pistachio mole and Enjococadas michianacas. Both were very good. The seating was very crowded and that was a little awkward. The place is very close to the state capitol and the cathedral.

The food is excellent! We love the prawns appetizer, guacamole, chips and salsa! The traditional Mole dinner and the Rib Eye with Chorizo was delicious. The service was excellent too! The value is great considering how expensive dining out can be these days. It is a bit loud, however it fits the setting. Festive and energetic!
We went there for dinner, it was a beautiful restaurant, with a lot of art that was appropriate to the culture. The food is delicious along with a wide variety of different drinks. They also had a large menu, along with a lot of food diversity.

Service was horrible. Me and my coworkers walked in since we were in the convention center and decided Mexican for lunch. When we arrived a guy told us to have a seat in a certain area. While waiting to be helped a lady came up to us and said we couldn’t sit there. And so I asked where can we sit? The lady said we don’t take walk ins and at the same time people walking in and being seated. We visit the area pretty often but will not be coming here again or recommending to anyone. If I could give no stars I would.

Was shocked to find a 3% credit card charge of my bill. Did not explain to me I'd be charged, not sure it's legal. Won't be back, no time to be surprised by hidden fees.

Soooo can someone explain to me why they have a 630 reservation slot if they close at 7pm? I called beforehand to confirm if that was ok, they said yes no worries. We got there at 640pm bc there was no parking nearby (first time there) that too on a Sunday & the hostess immediately saw us walk in and told us we had to order now and be done eating by 715pm bc they close lol. I was so beyond annoyed. I drove from roseville to this restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday to be told we had to rush and eat. I asked her why they would say that and let me book at 630pm resy and allow a grace period??? It made no sense.
Ofc we left. I don’t want to celebrate my husbands birthday in a rush lol luckily casa Lola where I originally wanted to go, had walk ins available and sat us right away! It’s a better atmosphere, service, and food anyways. I will not be coming to this place again just from that experience alone. I paid to park in a parking garage too and walked 10 mins to this place lol. Casa Lola to save the day!

Horrible customer service. Didn't let us eat. Told us that we could come to the 630 reservation and then when we arrived, they told us that we only had 30 minutes to eat and leave. I would not recommend going here.
So good! The tinga was the best I've ever had.

Sorry this has taken so long to write, honestly I kinda blocked it out until someone else was talking about going for restaurant week this year. Went for restaurant week last year and was served cold soup with a piece of fabric in it. Raw chicken, and oddly was taken to this weir back room to eat when most of the main restaurant was empty. No one in our party finished our meal, and we all went to in n out after.

Salty margarita, extremely expensive tacos, and lousy service. I wasn't impressed by this place at all.
