The kebabs are great! They are not on skewers when served which makes them easier to eat. Servings of basmati rice have grated chedder cheese on top and are ample servings. All very good!

When it comes to Persian cuisine, I typically order the koobedeh platter. However, we also ordered the chicken shish kabob, and that one really stole the show for me. I was amazed at how moist and flavorful the chicken was! Between the rice, the cucumber yogurt, the shirazi salad, and both proteins, this was a very delicious meal. I'm so glad that we decided to try this for our early Valentine's Day celebration.

We love Maydoon and dine here at least twice a month. It's not cheap, but it has great value. Large portions of quality food. Can't ask for more. My goto is the Chicken Solatani. Let me know what you think?

Good place to eat. We had a great time as a family and eating there. We will go back when in Sacramento again

I really enjoyed my business dinner at Maydoon. The restaurant staff were really nice and we received good service. The Dine Downtown Menu we had was lovely and well prepared. The ambiance was comfortable but the table next to us were a little loud making it hard to hold a conversation. Not really anything that the staff could do about that though. I'll definitely come back and bring friends!

We visited for the first time because of restaurant week and were a bit disappointed by the food from the prix fixe menu, especially the vegetarian entree. The regular menu looked good, so maybe we'll give it another chance in the future.

Authentic food, friendly staff, fast service, and delicious food. I had hummus, tadigh, and chicken soltani. All were fantastic.

I love this place. The food is excellent as is the service and ambiance. If you’re in Midtown and enjoy Persian cuisine you won’t find a better spot.

Authentic persian food kabobs and khoreshts, latter can be a bit too oily. Take out service is generally prompt and ready in about 20 mins. Except when they get your order wrong. This has happened to me twice in about four visits, so it's not an isolated incident. The tahdigh qormesabzi is replaced by rice and qormesabzi. Big disappointment when you get home. A little better training of the servers should fix this. Still coming back, but will check and double check my order, and check again before leaving

I had high expectations for Maydoon, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. I'm familiar with Persian cuisine and was excited to see how their take compared. On the positive side, the cocktails were creative and very well crafted, definitely a highlight of the evening. However, the ambience felt more cafeteria-like than cozy or inviting, and the food didn't arrive hot, which was disappointing. The tahdig was served hard as a rock, and while the topping had good flavor, it was far too sparse. The kashke bademjan was decent but lacked the depth and punch I was hoping for. The koobideh and chicken kebabs were flavorful and nicely prepared, but the filet kabob was surprisingly tough and bland. For a 30-minute drive to get there, the overall experience just didn't feel worth the trip.

Perfection. We had maydoon bowl with chicken kabob and taste of maydoon with veggie kabob. Both are phenomenal. The restaurant is lively and the waiters are attentive. Such a delightful experience and so excited to come back.
